a friend of mine has one of those wonderful old caravans on her property and they use it as a guest house.

After living in Italy which is crawling with gypsies, I have to say that the real Gypsy life is is far removed from the romanticized ideal! LOL

....But this is only a dream..... Isn't it? ;)

In my gypsy world all is rosy, not like irl. I am aware of what you are referring to, once we had a group of gypsies book a banquet room at our restaurant, I will never forget it. AND yes, the silverware was gone when they left!!

My mom used to be so jealous of my just picking up and going, wandering around this big ole country. She wanted to do it, too, but I think that was because she was going through a divorce at that time. It would have been fun to have her along.

I love it Marylou...and if invited would travel the gypsy life along with you. I would often dress as a gypsy when a child going out for Halloween...I do believe I have a bit of gypsy in my soul...maybe everyone does... :-)
