I do not so much discredit Frida Giannini, but I believe has given a further touch of luxury. She takes a lot of the lines of Ford, as she said, and this is also seen, especially in the menswear line has managed to rejuvenate the clothes. Gucci I appreciate much more now, because I think it's much more beautiful and innovative, as demonstrated by the turnover has tripled compared to the years of Tom Ford.

@gemifredricko i can confirm u this is tom ford gucci 96. i can also tell u the ads with georgina grenville were totally hit!!! especially the one a piece with a hole (on runway worn by carolyn murphy) brought a lot of sensation at that time (fucked halston;) and for his last collection daria was the face reminds me of the era till now. i so missed the era today and maybe i am very lucky to get this amazing set

Frida has absolutely no concept in regards to timeless, powerful, classics. All of the pieces from Tom Ford I own are precious and so sexy, conveying a clear sense of luxury and style.

Frida's most recent collection (fall 2009/2010) is laughable compared to this. Tom Ford was a genius who understood the power of classic, sexy pieces. One could wear these looks for years rather than when the trend goes out of style

I follow Gucci with Tom Ford for very long time, I think that's the best time of Gucci's. He made Gucci girl like ultimate-sexy goddess. But now...not like used to be...not sexy...

I loved everything in this collection... Georgina Grenville to Kate Moss opening and closing the show... and those iconic white jersey dresses at the end.. What an astonishing moment in fashion HISTORY .. out of this world!!!!!! Thanks for posting.. you've made my day :)

this is tom ford's 3rd season for the house of gucci and as far as i remember this is the jetset collection....this is the collection that he design the red velvet tuxedo that was wore by gwyneth paltrow.
