very nice, but this not an improvisation, but a composed piece by Francois Couperin from the Messe des Paroisses (I think).

I've looked it up, it's the Dialogue sur les trompettes from the Messe des Paroisses by Francois Couperin. I haven't been able to find a rendition on youtube (other than this one) for comparison, but I have one by Andre Isoir. I don't know how to post that (it's not a video), but if you give me some pointers, I can put it up for you.
