amazing download speed in Korea

THAT is super fast compared to my country, Indonesia. The fastest speed I've ever recorded (with the most expensive internet provider) here was only 200 kB/s (look, it's kB, not MB lol). The average of my fellow Indonesians downloading files is even much slower, no more than 30 kB/s. This sucks, yeah.

yep i confirm it's only 10Mega connection ( you always divide per 10 : 10Mega=1 mega octet), actually they are about to offer 1Giga (100 mo /s) which means you wait for 7seconds to download a movie(700) in theory... WOW

in india u can get upto 50mBps and not mbps but it's a little expensive considering normal internet speeds are like 1mB

yea make sure when you guys comment & compare the speed, check out the latest one. this video has been recorded & posted in August 2008. That is already more than a year now. I'm sure another 10 years people would say this download speed in the video is very slow!!!!

@mazemelb Mate, I was downloading some java environment platform thing about 2 years ago in Sydney, and it downloaded that at about 3.6Mb/s with a standard cable connection. 3.6Megabytes/second ~ 3600KB/sec - so what you're showing isn't really that fast AT all.

And yes, I got download speads of 1.5MB/sec quite often with this standard optus cable connection

really? I wonder when i did this in 2008, the Australian connection speed was way too slow at that time. I was even use the speed test from australian speedtest provider..... Korea was number 1 in the world, and australia was not even within top 20 or top 50....

the speed that you see is actual throughput. benchmaking shows the connection speed is 35000kbps.
