Looks more like a combination of high-pull / upright row... interesting idea, but which is it supposed to be? Might be fun to see straighter arms and some extra explosiveness on these! Would help lifters move significantly more weight in a moderately safer fashion? Just a thought :) Keep up the good work!
The key factor is to get people to really explode once the bar passes the knees.
We will revisted this movement again and it will be interesting to see the change of movement once they have seen the video and heard the coching cues.

Would be awesome for them to be able to maximally tap into their explosiveness to really benefit as much as possible from these :) Early arm bend and actively pulling on the bar = loss of transfer of power from hips, back and legs to the bar

We are working on it...
