I posted (3) differentiated ads in three separate categories, and ALL THREE were removed (2% eh???) within approx. one hour!? I requested an explanation of WHY they were being removed... but have only received canned emails, that are reminiscent of eBay's "CSBS" that tells you NOTHING of any relevance, or use!? If you can't "re engineer" a website that looks and functions like it was designed in about 1997... then perhaps CHARGING for ads... might actually kill several birds, with one stone???
CL's customer/feedback/help service is useless, it's a joke. Your spam filter sucks, my ads are always ghosted. I spend time on creating a nice ad only to find out it doesn't appear in the listings. However, if i go through a proxy, hack around a little, my ad posts with no problems. There are tons of spammers still on CL, step up your game CL.
@ixibittherus I would be very interested in HOW one is to go about BYPASSING CL's "Spam Bot..." as I can't seem to get my ads to stick?! I would gladly pay say $1.00 a day for the ad exposure... IF the site was redesigned (it's 2011, for Christ's sake!?) and some more people were HIRED to police spam, answer the phone, etc. What good is "free advertising," unless you're FREE, TO ADVERTISE, w/o having them REMOVED... for NO LOGICAL REASON!?! WST
