  • I would be careful, unless those cocos are organic, they're dipped in fungicide during the packing process, to prevent mold growth during the 6 week trip they undergo to arrive at your local market.

  • hehehhcuty cute cute,....go go go

  • so you just need the kifer grains and coconut water to make this?

  • **kefir

  • That's it! So easy.

  • thanks! =) do you think they would have kefir grains at a health food store or did you get yours online?

  • I will look at WF next time I go. I would think they would have them. I got mine from my co-op, but the next cheapest I've seen them is on e bbayyy. I know a lot of people use Donna Gates starter too. She sells it on her website.

  • haha, keep it up :) doing great

  • Ok, but I still didn't understand how to make the kefir... are there instructions on the starter package?

  • No, but I added the instructions in the info box above. You are probably confused because I talk about the yogurt too.

  • Oh my gosh, your boys are too darn cute!!!

  • Thank you. :)

  • Now there are those good lookin boys.:-)

I love coconut ,but never made kefir.

  • It's so good! They aren't kidding. They guzzled my last batch so I decided I've got to make a bunch to get any myself. You can get the kefir starter on e baayyyyy :)

  • I think my dad would freak if I started buying that many coconuts o_o

  • It's cheaper at the asian markets, if that helps. :)

  • wish that was true for me. they are actually the same price and moldier at the asian markets near me. o_o
