She has spanish blood most especially from her mother side. My mother knew Tita Betty Reinares Arrastia who is Isabel's mother. Tita Betty is 3/4 spanish from Lubao Pampanga. Enrique and Julio Jose use to vacation in Manila when they were younger. Isabel speaks tagalog and she eats Filipino food also. Isabel's sisters, especialy Vicky are more spanish looking though and also lives in Spain. Viva Isabel...eres muy hermosa y eligante mujer...con carino..su primo!

@hindiSikat i have many filipino friends of wealthy spanish descent but that fact DOESN'T MATTER at all. a person's place of birth and upbringing defines that person. i think you should get to know more people outside of your race to understand that. it's not about "class," it's about where you were brought up. if you were born and raised in a country foreign to your "roots," you would totally understand the point.

I just learned that Enrique Iglesias is half Filipino. His mother was absolutely beautiful in her younger days, but now that she looks older, she looks much more Asian. Why doesn't Enrique ever mention his Asian ancestry, he seems too proud of his Spanish heritage and forgets to mention that he is also Asian. .

My middle name doesn't sound spanish or common Filipino lastname but it's french. Try to find and trace your roots and you'll see where your family came from by tracing their birth certificate. It is actually interesting to know your background.

@atpatmat FYI based on the history; world and Philippine, it's actually Hispanic, not just Spanish soldiers from Spain but mostly Hispanic soldiers from Mexico who had children with the natives of the Philippines and so the Visayas part has people of pale color, brown eyes, and other Mexican features. Philippines had been under the Spanish govern for around 333 years and during those times, the Filipino language could not be used outside the house. They mostly prayed in Latin too
