i completely agree. I got into P.O.D. when i heard the song Alive. Then one thing went to another and now, the band i listen to the most is P.O.D. Theyve got songs that deal with religion, like Going in Blind, Goodbye For Now, and If It Wasnt For You.

I like my metal to be played by bands with some technical skill (not just as loud and fast as possible to hide the fact that they can't play more than two chords) and the singer should actually be able to sing on key and in tune not just shriek and scream as loud as they can (that's not emoting it's just making noise)

Queensryche does a far superior live cover of this song on their Take Cover album and Seplutura did a great cover too.

P.O.D is only popular because of record label hype.

Ive been playing P.O.D.'s songs for 6 1/2 months now, and ill tell you, theyre hard as hell to play when you dont know that much about tabs. But now i know a lot about them and they are hard. Sit down and play a bunch of their songs by heart.

Sonny, the lead singer, knows how to sing bro, just listen to ALL of their songs and you'll see just how great of a singer that he is.
