Something about the lyrics and the music doesent seem to fit, the music feels (to me) very comforting and 'warm', shoulder to cry on kind of thing. But at the same time the lyrics make me shiver, I really dont want that (feel numb).

At first listening, it's a shrill ballad and PSB have never scored high with slow songs. However, a subsequent listening brings forth sweeping, near epic sonic textures that dress Diane Warren's powerful lyrics in a post 9-11 meaning. It would have some potential as an American pop song but by now, American pop has gone straight to hell swamped in the worst kind of hip-hop and songs for the ADD crowd. And that's a crying shame.
