i think, that 1st u should get blade cx, cx2 or other helis like that. and then u should get blade 400. At my LHS (Local Hobby Shop) they said that blade cp is shit. Im 13 and im learning tofly with b400.
Put ur balls in ur hand and get it up there! Floudering around in turbulent air wont help you at all! U start to get it after 1.30, but trying to keep it near u is another challenge! Have confidence dudeeee!
Great laugh mate, but at least you gave it a go & that's what counts. Everyone has their own path when it comes to helis, I have a co-axial Twister Hawk & I also spend hours on Phoenix flight sim. I have just bought a Blade 400 3D, so will be drashing her soon. Just get that heli above the ground effect & she will behave.
@hotymanguy You do realise CX2's having counter rotating blades makes them hover themselves? Props to Rip for actually getting the thing off the ground considering a collective pitch heli is one of the most difficult things to fly in the RC world.
You guys, I have been flying this little chopper for over 2-years, when it was called the E-SKY HONEYBEE CP2, and I got it at the WRAM SHOW Feb, 2005. I was amazed, and so wer the buds at the field. In a couple months, it became the blade CP, and blade CP-pro, with better Bell-Hiller mixers for even greater hover and flite control. The Switch on top lets you do loops and rolls, which it does great. But, Ive been flying RC Helis since 1985...
I finally gave up on my blade cp, and get a cx.... I never could get the cp to fly right, before the main shaft bent, and the rotor head got wobby (too many crashes yes I know)
Oh, and buy lots of xtra blades. DONT GET a model like this dude did, with a single main rotor, ans a tail rotor. its like learning to play guitar on a banjo. just buy a trainer then move up.
Don't confuse the pilot with the product. The Blade CP Pro (this video shows the CP that) is hands down the best bang for the buck in the Micro Heli price range.
ur an idiot....this dude just cant fly it.....i have a blade cp and the only upgrade i've done is lipo battery...and i can do alot of 3D shit... its DEF the best micro heli bang for ur buck wise
your first mistake was getting a blade cp imo

Thanks for checking out the video.
Yeah - I think I'll stick to crashing planes - I put those together easier :)

u need to learn on a virtual flight program first, like real flight 3.5 like i did..really helps!
gmodesike 4 years ago
Thanks for checking it out. I'll have to do that.
Ripbud 4 years ago
Do the flight simulator first, BEFORE you try to hover a real-world model. Will save you lots of money!
Control-feel is EXACTLY the same! I recommend the RealFlight G3.5. Happy Hovering!

just go to the hobby shop, buy a duel main rotor trainer, and ask for the training weights. that simple.
WarEagle7883 4 years ago
:: makes a mental note not to buy any Eflight products :: so have you guys got it off the ground for longer than a minute yet?
