@Uchiha1EX Uhh, I guess maybe Lightning, Yuna, and Sephiroth, that I know of. I'm not saying these particular chaarcters have the MU advantage, but they can do decently. Squall as well, can do fine.

Isn't the whole point of a tournament to play to win, using any and all resources available to you in order to gain the upper hand? We allow Shadow Flare spam but not Chase?

Of course, you can chase all you want when you are trying to win, but it makes things less impressive than winning without trying to make the opponent guess what you are trying to do.

@kewldude475 I have adjusted and I like the 012 Chase - it makes it a viable attack option. I also didn't imply you don't like the mechanic. I used a broad term - "guys." As in "lots of people."

Yes, it's less impressive when you win without making the opponent guess what you're doing. If you're Sephiroth, everyone knows he's probably gonna spam Shadow Flare.

You know what forces the opponent to guess what you're gonna do? Chase - will it be an HP attack? Or a Brave attack? Shit I don't know!

And no one is saying SF spam is impressive. Note that also there is a difference between mechanics and attacks. There are ways of dealing with SF spam, but no other way to deal with chase other than have great reaction skills.

@kewldude475 There are also ways of dealing with Chase. Our community has given us two distinct options - expect to dodge one type of Chase attack, or get better reaction time to avoid both.
