How could one bullet tear that guy's foot off? He was jumping onto another roof, which may have put enough force on it at the right time, but Kusanagi's gun seemed too powerful to be realistic. She wasn't using a Desert Eagle, and that gun didn't have enough kick back to be that powerful; however, I'm forgetting Kusanagi is a robot with super strength. She is one of the few that could effectively wield dual Desert Eagles. Also, this anime is in the future with better, more powerful guns...

I'm usually not a fan of woman running around in suggestive outfits. But the Major is a beautiful woman with a strong mind and highly developed specialized skills. I can easily forgive her wardrobe choices just because of who she is.

I do belive it's the privilege of anyone training their body to be proud of it, or in Kusanagi's case her use of her body.

However, if your point is about fighting in suits that seem to offer less than full body protection, I would have to agree.
