Good video, you guys are awesome. I'm not a fan of full size pistols, I love the 1911 officer and 3 inch models. But I still plan on getting a full size to complete a little collection and it might be this Remington. I do like the trimmed down G.I. style.
@quimbyt You should go back to school then. "Didn't Remington make 1911's for WW2" is more of a question than a statement. Your poor choice of punctuation and syntax doesn't change it into a statement.
@12gaugebleachdrinker Wrong, I didn`t use a question mark as I learned in school, dipshit. I don`t much care what you think. I also wasn`t looking for a history lesson from you since I made history, before you were born. Again read my comment how I used said Remington Rand 1911. How many years were you in the military ? It was still a statement.
Looks like a nice 1911. It is just the basics, but with exelent fit and finish. Would make a great gun to start with for customization, or just a good 1911 platform shooter.
@GunWebsites The Ruger has a few advantages over the Remington. Stainless steel, no MIM for the same price point. But this is a great alternative to those who want a Ruger, but wont pay the inflated price, or cant find one available right now.
@ktockly Remington Rand, a cousin company of Remington Arms, produced more M1911A1's during WW2 than ANY other gun manufacturer. Mostly due to the fact they made type writers and had experience in mass produced parts that had to be interchangeable with all similar products when/if something broke.
ive been looking foward to buying this gun il prob buy it next pay check but right now i have a mini 14 an 45 an a 44.mag an a 9mm. rifle an a ar.22 cal cant wait to get to shot this gun.
@GunWebsites AHHH, Yes! I could see where they're coming from. I would surely bet you're right on coming up with other models. I would consider buying one, after all, my father-in-law's Remington rifle collection does make me think highly of the company's craftmanship. Keep up the great vids!
maybe its because i am looking for a Kimber... but i held one of these and it just didnt feel all that good.. did not feel like a 7-800 dollar 1911 to me. I have never shot one tho, so maybe they shoot well, but i feel like the ruger 1911 would be a better option.. just my opinion tho
Where is it amde? Every part? Internal Extractor and Pressed plunger. I like screwed plungers, way easier to dissaemble and clean. Looks kinda average. I do like the finish I guess. Price?
Is it Legal in California ?

Would you pick one of these up over the ruger 1911 ?

@chavezchavez556
I might.. I think price would do it for me, they seem equal in quality so far
But I've only seen them each a few times, never shot them

12gaugebleachdrinker 5 months ago
@ktockly Lots of people make them. Colt, Ruger, Taurus, Smith & Wesson. The list goes on and on. I believe the first ones were made by Browning.
schnips074 5 months ago
@schnips074 John M. Browning designed it, but it was licensed to Colt originally with others jumping in the game later.
