  • Be still my raido loving heart!Thank you!!!

  • My folks were devoted KSFO listeners and that made me one also....My wifes 2nd cousin was the engineer for Russ Hodges and Lon Simmons. I met him after he retired and he told me quite a bunch of KSFO stories of the goofy crap Sherwood would do...........

  • Dan Sorkin, Russ the Moose Syracuse, Jazzbo Collins, Gene Nelson...

  • There appear to be many photos from the Bay Area Radio Museum & Hall of Fame in this video montage ... or were these all from your personal collection?

  • barry, I love right-wing racist crap you left-wing racist.

  • My day got off to a bad start if I missed listening to Don Sherwood while getting ready for school and college! I think he made me appreciate a good sense of humor. I wish there were lots more sounds of Sherwood pm jere

  • @avalleygirl ya....from when ksfo was a great station and kfrc and kya were great top 40 stations

i still remember the radio wars between kya and kfrc

  • @brabon1 I went to the race to Bodega Bay between Don Sherwood and Jim Lange, all the time listening to the hysterical banter on the radio.

  • @avalleygirl when radio was fun...

  • @barrymac3595 - The old KSFO with Aaron Edwards and the gang pictured in the video was quite different the the right wing racist crap of the new KSFO.

  • The one of the last racist stations

  • Brings back so many memories ! My parents were avid Giants fans and KSFO listeners. Sherwood, Lange, Sorkin, early Carter B Smith, Russ Hodges, Lon Simmonds AND Aaron Edwards. Sigh. The first time I ever heard of the WIncester Mystery House was on the History Show that used to air on Saturday evenings. This was classic radio!

  • This classic Johnny Mann(singers) anthem for KSFO is so great to hear once again. So many of were able to hear the cherry voice of Aaron Edwards as the comic foil to Sherwood in the height of their popularity. Thanks for making this tribute.

  • Great and Original Tribute !!

  • This is terrific, Gary. Wow-it sure brings back memories.
