@lizzy2492 Those aren't pants - they are like leggings. They made me put them on because they thought they were going to send me to the OR for a c-section.
Wow, you looked really relaxed and happy. I am 5 months pregnant and am really scared of being torn but most of all intervention. I will certainly consider this way! Well done. X
I haven't ever heared about this method of standing, it seems to be much more easy than the normal one. I'm 16 weeks pregnant, I will inform myself about that. But I would ask for epidural and maybe they are not compatible. However, I give you my best congratulations and thank you for sharing *
The method of standing in childbirth is not new; it has been used by many cultures since the primitive era. Medical technology at that time was absent. So they had to give birth at their own shelter. With standing, the gravity not only helps the baby descends quickly, but also helps to stretch her perineum easier.
You served as our inspiration in the role of childbirth by your wise choice. Great job!

Thanks for posting your video.I have two questions...
The birth seemed painless for you, why was that?

I've seen many natural births where the birth was quite a painful ordeal, so I'm asking how you dod it without screaming or so.
From the details of the video, you said your baby seemed to be in distress...why was he in distress, did you find out what made his heart rate drop?
I ask out of interest for my future births, had my forst last December 08.
