I have used 3rdPlanit for many years to plan my different layouts. Its a good and cheap software and works very well. The video is produced directly as an avi-filed and just added sound with my normal videoeditingsoftware.
Wow - pretty cool to test and plan a layout! What 3D modeler did you use?? I'm a SolidWorks guy myself, although I've barely begun putting it to use for my N scale stuff. Nice work!
