Assuming you mean the the height restriction for joining the RAF as a pilot there isn't one as far as i'm aware. The restrictions are more to do with specific limb measurements. You need a functional reach of at least 720 mm, your sitting height has to be between 865-990 mm also knee to buttock length is 560-660mm and buttock to heel length is 1000-1200mm. Hope this answered your question :)

Shame you not in England tomorrow (Sat 7 June). It's the famous Biggin Hill airshow. RAF C130, AWACS, Tornado F3 and GR4s, Hawks, Chinook chopper, Lynx choppers, Typhoon - all flying. If you're got a motorbike, you can get right near the runway - means the jets pass right over your head, very low and very loud!

@Nosteratees - this version is the GR1/4 version intended as a low level strike aircraft. The F3 is the interceptor. This version has won numerous honours in exercises such as Red Flag. The F3 for many years has and still is intercepting aircraft in UK airspace.

I think it's actually Canada, and the RAF frequently visit the Country(being commonwealth and all that)to train and exchange. The country is much larger than ours and less densely populated, so they can train in peace and make as much noise as they like, without upseting the N.I.M.B.Y's we have in our own country.

This video is in Canada. But many european countries send both ground and air to america all the time. Sweden sent an entire JAS 39 squadron to Alaska for a month of dog fighting. That's a whole lot of people. I have seen RAF Harrier's even in Iowa of all places.
