I don't see anything unusual. I do see something that looks like a piece of garbage probably from one of our many space expeditions. Just learn this lesson, we have been exploring space for many many years. Who knows what leftover junk landed where? Mercury maintains only a single sided rotation around the sun .Half of the planet is hot as fuck, the other half (that don;t face the sun) is cold as fuck. There must be an interesting enough "border region" inbetween the hot and cold where u can find sane temperatures?

I don't think it's the case where u just walk at -200 deg and immediately the next step u take surface temp shoots to 200 deg. I am interested in the "border zone" between the hot and cold parts of mercury.

I looked the raw images, the only thing that looks odd is the object in the middle of the crater.

The "mining" apparatus with the "articulated arm" etc, looks just like every other natural surface feature on the planet.
