AvP2 was very good. Monolith did a great job with the Marine campaign, building the sense of dread and anticipation just like the movie Aliens did. The other campaigns were also well done and the way the stories related to each other was quite a fun twist.

In the one with the anime-styled character,where you played as the Pred Hunter,is that golden-armored Xenomorph you fought in the second level some sort of hybred? Because it seemed impossible to kill,and it looks like no Xenomorph I've seen.

As for the best game,the last one was definately the closest when it comes to matching the movie in overall feel,but I don't how dark it is. Better gameplay= clear lighting. You can actually see to shoot. I vote for the anime-style one. It looks fun.

The Alien vs predator arcade game was the best.

The best part of the arcade game is that you can fight the Alien Queen with up to 2 friends at the same time, twice. Something "No Other AvP game" offers.

3 Players co-op is it's best feature. Only biggest flaws are that the game never really made an official re-release so no unlockables or other misc goodies for re-play value.

Btw, virtually all AvP games were never re-released other than first PC game that Rebellion made. I can say that each AvP game made are unique per developer and system.

I always thought that was weird. They should have colored the armor with a white-ish silver or metallic color and helmet.

If you play the original Japan release of that game the Predator has green armor, moves slower, and has a different standing pose. The green armor reminds of TMNT.

I would say avp 3 if it weren't for the fucked up balance in multiplayer. The game haqs been made for consoles, and that's exactly what aliens have to suck on in the PC version. Humans and Predators have a way too easy time shooting them down before they can get in striking range.

That's why I go for AvP2. Haven't played primal hunt, but since its an expansion i'll count it in.

AvP 1 (pc) wins the price for best atmosphere.

5:46 this one was so scary and a little overly difficult at times. it was dark your character was always alone and they totally perfect the sound of the radar giving you plenty of moments where all you know is that something is moving and its close but you cant see what or where and the tone of the radar was just perfect for the most scary effect.

My vote goes to the arcade version. It's because it's the "only" AvP game that allows you to fight Alien bosses with friends.

The FPS games does not allow you to fight Alien Queens or any other bosses with friends. Either they are single player only or geared toward player vs player deathmatches.
