This is the problem. Woman buy CHEAP hosiery yet they want to buy expensive hadnbags for fashion or last them. I think the bare legs look does not looking especially in the workforce and most woman do not labor jobs. Woman feel being femine is bad and they want to dress in their powersuits and be like men. I am not sexist and I respect a woman in the business enviroment much more if she actually shows some femine traits.

I like hosed and bare legs but as one poster put, what woman wearing hose is doing yard work...I'm a man and I wear them gor vein issues (medical stockings) which is different, a lot more tight and they can be annoying, but not as bad as painful legs after a long day in the office...if I worked outdoors as I used to, no way I would wear them as the benefits don't outway the negatives...really women probably mainly hate them because they are made so cheap these days...good compression are not

this video sucks - that is why i gave it a thumbs down - hosiery is awesome - bare legs are grose - sorry - but it is true ! I totally agree with the black lady, I wasn't convinced either that those 2 guys didn't have any pantyhose on under their jeans while on the show! I know how they can be uncomfortable if you're planning to do gardening or DIY around the house but then again, there's the control top pantyhose that stays up better and doesn't roll down so much so it's easier to have them on while on the go. But I think they liked the feeling and one of them must have had them on!

Wearing a skirt or dress with no pantyhose is just like a guy wearing a suit with no tie on or with tennis shoes. It looks ridiculous. Ties and dress shoes are uncomfortable too. But it looks good. Ladies, you say you want equal treatment??? Grow up and put your big girl panties on (pantyhose) and learn how to dress appropriately. ;)

I agree with goldie70 and mdphfanatic. This is one brand, I've heard that others - especially control top - are comfortable! Also, women as a rule don't have hairy legs. The fact is, virtually all women's legs look better with pantyhose, and appearance forms a first impression. Without, legs look thin, old, thick, etc., in other words, pantyhose compensates for many of those (for lack of a better word) imperfections, impressing as professional, competent. Were the GMA women looking 4 validation?

Stupid ass people, I get it, hose are ancomfortable yada yada yada, at the same time if you work wor a fancy place or are going to a formal occasion,, put the damn hose or stockings on. Everyday pantyhose wearing slows down leg hair growth because pantyhose provide an extra protective layer on the skin. Russian and European women prefer pantyhose with skirts. American women I guess prefer to cut themselves shaving like men. But, oh well what can I say. Everyone has their preferences.

also, pantyhose are made of nylon and nylon contains acetate and acetate fights cellulite. also, look at those who have burned their bras (pathetic breasts) and don't wear pantyhose (vericose veins,splotches). pantyhose are also therapeutic as they promote good circulation. Bubsy812 there is one more thing. Women elsewhere than in USA, who do still wear pantyhose everday, also don't grow hair on their legs. I'm a man and wear socks everyday and hair only grows above the sockline. If a women wears hose everyday hair will almost never grow on her legs because her body will not need to produce them to keep warm. So women who don't wear pantyhose are unfeminine. In Europe and parts of Asia all women still wear pantyhose. Only in USA they don't.

wilburhog what you said only applies in the Americas. Take a look at Russia, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Korea, and Japan. Women in these countries wear pantyhose everyday single right now in 2010. Wearing hose not only gives good circulation but prevents from hair growth, so it is feminine.

Well first off, i don't think alot of women that do roof work and outdoor home chores are wearing hosiery while doing those type of jobs anyway. Besides the women are missing the point...men want to see women wearing hosiery because it has to do with sexual attraction.

Take a look where the hair starts growing on your legs. Above your sockline but not below. For women pantyhose hinder hair growth. Good reason for them to wear them.
