  • you guys truly kick ass - and stay cool while doin it - served with u guys in AFG 2008 and will never forget. Wish we hadthose rules of engagement far from the beginning of the conflict. GO GET EM!

  • shittt

  • Hey phredhead ............still waiting you punk nothing to say? Serve your Country you little bastard. then u have a say.

  • @phredhead To think Canada is a puppet of the US shows your lack of insight. if Canada had no military presence and a foreign country decided to drill for oil in our arctic territory and it became a point of conflict, we would ask the US for help in your world. OR, we could look after ourselves, including pity payments to basement living socialists like yourself phredhead. I put in 20 years maintaining jet engines on our fighters. what have YOU done for Canada?

  • @phredhead you MUST be young and stupid or just deluded. Your ilk watched Hitler schmooze the world stage then do an about face, rape Europe and start world war2..

  • Yes sir, we don`t have any money for infrastructure. We`ve got one million Canadians living in poverty. MAnufacturing jobs are vanishing ( eroded tax base). But we`ve got billions of $ to play GI Joe with over in Afghanistan. Why? Because our politicians play lackie to their American puppetmasters, who in turn play lackie to their military industrial puppetmasters. Presently our government is running a record deficit. This will prove a greater threat to our freedom than any taliban .

  • Its odd... I was watching Vietnam in HD and I recognized some voice excerpts they used like, "Let's go Bravo," and "Take First Platoon and move them across, move them across," then there was "TNT out." Very strange. I wonder if they used this video to get some sound.

  • Hope you anglos get killed ,long from home, painfully and alone,

what the fuck are youy supposed to be doing murdering afghan civilians on the other side of the planet?

  • @comaradella hope we kill your ass punk

  • well done boys, well done.

  • a message from the USA. GET SOME CANADA!!! GET SOME!!!

  • GET SOME!!!

  • HOOAAA. BRAVO, LETS GO!!!!

  • i would say shitty camera work if i was in that firefigth behind the camera would be still...and probably looking into the dirt with a voice calling for his mommy.lol

  • @Saintcoulombe

My guess is that was a Helmet Cam, buddy.. I doubt that soldier's main thought was "Damn, I gotta keep my head nice and still or I will ruin the video!"

  • @MidnightShards99 i figured that. i was trying to be funny i mean in a firefigth i doubt you could keep you head still lol

  • in WW2 a british officer said that in order to rule the world he needed 3 things, British officers, american wepons, and canadian soldiers :)... moral of thes story... we dont need american people... just their stuff

  • @minulaptor dam! that post just inspired me even more to join the canadian force!

  • @minulaptor Winston Churchill the PM of the UK said that. It was actually

If I had Canadian soldiers, American technology and British officers, I would rule the world.

  • Perhaps an addition to the "army voice" is innovation. How can innovative ideas save limbs and lives from IEDs? The goal is to do all we can to assure our military people come back as they left. Innovative technology can assist with that objective. In Canada we are free to innovate thanks to the sacrifice of many people in too many wars. We should not let this freedom go to waste. IEDs need a solution.

    E-T

  • 00:40 classic ww2 army voice of canada/usa

  • Love it, let her Eat!

  • Is there a communication issue? Are the Canadian politicians listening to Canadians? Some have had IED solutions for many years now. With the knowledge and technology we have very few soldiers should be harmed by IED. Occupational safety is still of value in Canada. RC/RF technology can help neutralize IED with little to no harm to our soldiers. We invest a great amount of time and resources into our military personnel. Equipment is easy to replace a soldier is not.

  • Have we asked the free people of Afghanistan if they want to help create employment by building a Solar and Wind assisted economy? Are they now free from the slavery of opium? Some think a Solar and Wind infrastructure can replace opium revenue. Any thoughts?

    E-T

  • @rex90986

    theres no quaeda in afg

    watson

  • @rex90986

talibans and alquaeda is not the same thing... talibans just want guys like you to get out of afghanistan...

al quaeda want to destroy usa

if u ask an afghan about ossama bin laden... he wont know him..

  • that was good fucking skills and drills my canadian friends!!! proud to have you as an allie.....like the man said on the vid their sure gonna know who you are now!!! hard fast and aggresive!!! just the way it should be!! from uk soldier

  • Would there be less "fighting" if they had employment that does not harm the individual? What about a solar assisted economy?

    E-T

  • CANADIAN FORCES

    Afghanistan

    Rules of Engagement

    .SHOOT STRAIGHT

    .KILLCLEAN

    .APOLOGIZE TO NO ONE

taliban BEWARE ...... EXPECT NO MERCY !!!!!

    'Nuff said.

  • @sixinafour sry but is the rule of american army

  • The world is a safe place. Don't let fear become too much of an issue or we will become imprisons by fear. We can resolve most issues with innovative solutions. Innovative trade can help minimize poverty while creating employment free from war. More peace less war more happiness for more people.

    Peace,

    E-T

  • I pray that the world will be a safe place for all people no matter who they are.

  • @TheGirlsWhoDontCare Really? Perhaps you should pray to be freed from your gullibility. God's wrath is upon the world and the anti-Christ Jews are to blame. This Canada is just another puppet regime which deceives its citizens about this war. I hope the Taliban kicks your Canadian commie asses. Who do they think they are fooling?

  • @jh12342 then you tell us what this war is about.

  • @NomadGT This war is about political and financial interests but they call it "War on Terror". It´s much easier to draft people and have them kill "the enemy" beacause they are "terrorists" and make you believe that they pose a global threat. It´s bullshit!

  • @TheB3rTh3lS3n Not exactly true. If we don't fight them over there we will fight them here. Personally I would rather over there.

  • @lightswitch94

al-quaeda never being in afghanistan you dumb

  • Please be aware that anyone can claim to be from the Canada or the USA ... Are they?

    E-T

  • lol americanz are hiding alot of dead soldier... they dont talk abour all the deaths...

    canadian are not like that.

  • fake and gay

  • Canadians joined this war to help the Americans, there where Canadian soldiers killed on this day. And I have to Read these Americans calling Canadians peices of shit in their comments, And you wonder why the world hates you!!!! Fuck You! America. Canada burnt the white house down once before and we can do it again. I know you dont know that, becasue your stupid and dont know anything, even your own history is lied to you so you think your great. Its not your fault, its your contries.

  • @killinryan AMEN BROTHER

  • @killinryan you know, your making Canada look just as bad as those trolls make America look, dont say shit like this, they are just a handful of trolls that dont represent their country well, and you are not representing Canada well either by sinking to their level.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Hey GO fuck yourself you douchie cunt! Take that Liberal dildo out of your ass and go fuck your dad with! thanks for the comment by the way

  • Repent, Pray! God Bless you.

  • You know the LAV? Thats kind of our invention. Say thank you, US Marines.

  • Who can forget the Dutch? No one I know has. Good people the Dutch.

    E-T

  • True Canadians battling for peace have never been defeated. We are peace keepers and help find ways to sustain peace. This is what our military is helping with the choice to choose peace over war in the 21 century so our children will not have to fight wars that we have the knowledge to avoid.

    Peace,

    E-T

  • Canadian have not, nor will they ever be defeated. The north is not up for grabs.

  • Canada fucked those Talibangers up

  • Our Canadian military and friends and allies have risked much so more people can choose peace. One would trust that their effort will not go to waste.

    E-T

  • Pvt.Machenzie Max Murphy PPCLI B.Company Shilo Manitoba, a Canadian hero-saved 6 of his fellow soldiers in a suicide bomb attack and i'am proud to say i know him, 3 tours for Canada

  • It's 2011 time to wrap up the military operation and see what our investment and sacrifice has achieved. How many soldiers would be interested in helping to build a solar industry in Afghanistan? This would show the children of Afghanistan a better way than war. Please share your thoughts too.

    E-T

  • I'll be honoured when I serve my country.

  • DAMN!! Canadians are pimps lol

  • @ALAMOE13 they are not

  • wonder hoo the caneediens are from here on oot thats for sure lol wow

  • I'm proud to serve with the Canadians and being a US First Lt of the Army

  • 1:38 lol frag out frag out ahhhh!!

  • @bigredonedday fuck u an idiot

  • people with negative comments don't represent the CF..I'm a Corporal in the Canadian armed forced and anyone who i have talked to including myself are very proud of our allies strength and courage. So i say i would fight along side of your strong hearted country any day of the year America, Thank You.

  • @KaRma2121 you're Country say's Austrilia, sorry if i didn't spell it right, also im from Canada, Good place.

Going to go in the Canadian Army in a few years

  • Before the CF i spent 2 years there and created this account, then returned.

  • @PaperMario121Luigi Why not join now?

  • that was pretty intense, eh?

  • Ive seen alot of firefight videos in afghanistan but this one is the most intense

  • Did anybody shoot at the Canadiens.... I hear no shots directed at them

  • @KartingStar08 PROBABLY THEY NEVER GAVE THEM A CHANCE TO RETALIATE BACK IN ANYWAY PERHAPS.

  • @marhoekful Funny as you are the one being manipulative. First of all it is not explosive residue, it is components common in explosives, but also common in many other household products. But being the weasel you are, you failed to mention that.

As for the poll, of the 1300 there are HVAC, dental, pool engineers who signed it - people who have nothing to do with the relevant science. So .08% of the US scientific and engineering community signed a poll. Much smaller than most fringe groups

  • "they're definitely gonna wonder who the Canadians are from here on out," fuck yeah.

  • At what point do you soldiers listen to all the Architects, engineers, physics professors, and High military brass, that are saying the world trade center buildings were brought down with explosives? At what point do you realize a mega pipeline is being built in Afghanistan? At what point do you listen. Is it truth you seek, or false glory.

  • Long live the Islamic Republic Of Afghanistan and long live the memories of all the brave men and woman who gave their lives so that the children of Afghanistan can live without tyranny and oppression. You are all true heroes and deserve more than you get back..

  • Canadians are pussies compared to the American Soldiers. Now, there are some REAL men!

  • @aLittleVol real men don't run to canada,so they don't go to war. cowards your a joke you pansy

  • @toxicguy101 at Least Canada wasn't beat like the USA was in Vietnam, if it wasn't for the fact that other countries were helping out the USA would have already pulled out of Afghanistan in defeat. American soldiers are so gung-ho that they have killed more allied soldeirs than the Taliban. Even your special forces suck, they killed Linda Norgrove.

  • @DrunkOnScotsWhisky THEY KILLED PVT GRAHAM TOO!

  • @1988scottcarey i went to school with pvt grahams brother sir allan macnab, what a horrible day that was when i herd about that, r.i.p. graham

  • @aLittleVol Canadians and Americans are the same thing u fucking idiot

  • @BranMac97 SO I guess Russians and Brits are the same too eh ?

  • @BranMac97 and there goes all your credibility.

Calling Canadians and Americans the same thing is the same as pooling England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales together. If you make an ignorant comment like that you've either never been to both countries, or are completely oblivious to any cultural distinction.

  • Many respect for the Canadians from Europe

  • canadian soldiers who go to Afghanistan are naive, ignorant sheeple who are like pawns of the politicians and the military industrial complex. If we didnt have so many ignorant morons who go and fight for the CIA and US's world domination agenda...then we wouldnt be in Afghanistan. It is all a matter of ignorance and also money. Most of these losers can't get high paying jobs in the private sector because of how dumb most of them are. That is why Military Industrial Complex use them to make $

  • @mostafa789 they don't choose to go overseas, they're sent there by the army. i'm pretty sure ignorance has nothing to do with them being there dumbass, seeing as how when you sign a contract with the CF it clearly states that they can send you without your will, its part of being in the military. i'm wondering, you say they can't get high paying jobs in the private sector because they're dumb, and yet your grammer and the way you articulate your sentence is retarded.

  • @garen420 In Canada, while you CAN be forced to go, leaving for Afghanistan is a competitive process, and yes, they all CHOSE to go overseas. It is a popular mission among the military here(not so in the civilian population).

  • @mostafa789 You are the one who is ignorant and naive bud. These men are members of a military organization whose mandate is to serve the wishes of the Canadian people, without bias. The Canadian people voted to go to war,and so they went. You should respect these men for having the honor and courage to be willing to fight and die in the name of Canada, instead dishonor them. Regardless of the various motivations behind this war.. one thing is true.. the people of Afghanistan are free of tyranny.

  • @MagnesiumAlloy we (the canadian people) didn't vote for shit on this war... I'm not saying the general public's view is for or against the war.. I'm saying we didn't vote on if we wanted to go or not (the canadian people, not the military. SO again, don't ever say we had a choice in something when we didn't (whether you or the "general public" support the war or not)

I say again, we didn't get to vote on the war nor will we ever get to, don't try and say otherwise.

  • @mostafa789

Sounds like you have spent to much time bitching about other people but never go actually do anything!

I bet when you see a problem your the first guy to solve it, right? gettin shit done is your priority eh! I bet your the most useless mother fucker you Liberal Hippie cock smoker!

I know Soldiers from Edmonton in the PPCLI and they dont join for the Cause so much as they join so they can kill people. Thanks by the way for answering a question NO ONE ASKED! dumb fuck!

  • Its not Canada's fault that we only need to send 1:50 of the amount of troops to do the same job! and get better resaults. American Officials were pleading with Canada to stay because we get shit done!!!

Like most Nato nations Canada like the British, Germans, French, Australians..ect. put more effort into the QUALITY of the training of their military personel rather than large numbers. The average Canadian recieves 1.5 to 2 years training before deployment. Not 3 months like the US Army.

  • @killinryan Yeah for sure.. I've heard that some American units have actually requested to have Canadian snipers support them over their own American snipers.. that is pretty high praise and that's gotta count for something.

  • I am not convinced that young Americans attacking the Taliban in Afghanistan will change Afghan culture, create a stable government or prevent an iman from declaring murder as holy.

I can no longer accept the reality of fellow citizens returning with missing limbs, missing mental function given brain injury or missing life in order to prevent the possibility that I or my family may be harmed by a Muslim extremist. At some point “home of the brave” should become more than a lyric we sing.

  • canada rules!!

  • GO ALLIES! WE KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!

  • You guys are fighting over who's military is better but Honestly who gives a fuck a Soldier is a Soldier and the USA and Canada would never get in a war in there times of being independent countries hell i respect Iranian Soldiers who volenteerd just for the fact there willing to do something for there country outside of civilian life

  • LAV's, pouring out hate and discontent like a motherfucker.

  • u wana fuckin bet uever herd of a long range balistic misle lol thats right i forgot ushoot dildows

  • wat the fuck y would britain wana attack canada canada rocks u may think us canadians r to nice if u fuck with us we'll bring the fight to your land and kill u all

  • @roughrider1111 im with rider on this one!!!

  • fuck that 25 mm bushmaster has got to be loud!

  • stop Iraq and Afghanistan occupations

RIP more than 1300 000 Iraqi civilians

    close Guantanamo

stop torture people, without any access to trial!!!

  • @911insidejob81 If hooking a car battery to some rag headed terrorist's balls is gonna get information that is gonna save the live of our soldiers, I only have three thing to say, #1 red is posative #2 black is negative #3 make sure his nuts are wet !

  • @911insidejob81 first statement is retarted

    second statement is bullshit

and i laughed at your 3rd and 4th statements

  • Canadians are doin´GREAT work down there as well as the Brits, the US or us Germs. Also the other allied forces like France, Denmark and so on can be proud to give there part to this fight for freedom.

You should rather pat each other shoulders for seein´ our all soldiers fight brave in a tough war

  • @stylebo417 except France, Germany, Denmark have just left Afghanistan and Iraq but Britain, Canada and America ares still there

  • @stylebo417 ISAF needs all the help it can get, but the USA, Canada and UK are truly doing most of the fighting...

  • @stylebo417 Riddle me this my friend, over 1300 Architects and engineers have signed a petition to open a new investigation into sept 11 2001, having found explosive residue in the dust, and having overwhelming scientific evidence that explosives were used to bring the three world trade center buildings down. How come you people have not caught wind, its all over the internet, yet you talk about fighting for freedom, they are building a mega pipeline through Afghanistan, you are pawns.

  • @stylebo417 I'm serving with some troops of the Canadian army and The US Army.

  • @stylebo417 wtf do u think of the dutch! hmm forgetting someone :D

  • @Id4Design You're right - The Dutch are doing great too, but u know... - I just like the Dutch people for beeing sooooo much friendly, every dutch I meet is just so very polite, that I often forget them talking 'bout bad things like war and death and so on.... ;)

    GreetZ

  • Chalk one up for Canada...good job guys.

  • @SandmanUSMC I served along side you guys in Afghanistan! With the Canadian army. Top notch. We worked well together,

  • they look like they're randomly shooting coz they're scared, fuckin fags, just like the yanks, i think britain shud nuke afghan, then nuke the fuck out of america and canada

  • @voicesinmehead Brilliant .... -_-'

  • @GreenFlyingBeaver not really, war's gay is all, winds me up

  • @voicesinmehead Why would you wish for the death of your country UK? America and Canada would eat you guy for lunch. None the less we are and should be great allies not enemies you tard.

  • @Doddle3456345 Rat, u wud die at the hands of a smacked up scally from birmingham if u were up against us, pussy ass ferret fucker

  • @voicesinmehead I can see you are on your period. So i will speak plainly britian would get overwhelmed because the US and Canadians are just to much for your country to handle

  • @Doddle3456345 Fucking doubt it mate really i do

  • @beefy595 You can doubt it all you want but the fact remains canada and america would destroy britian. i think you guys would stand up to them in a fight for about 2 months then collapse

  • @Doddle3456345 fuckin smelly little jew rat bastard, i will wipe the floor with u and then ur country, and u will all bow to me and slurp my righteous dick.....we'd crush u, get over it arrogant weedy little crack head spunk guzzler, die like the rest of your country is to the hands of queer pakis, pussys

  • @voicesinmehead When some one starts to to cuss you know as well as they do that they have lost and get defensive. Your period must take up the whole month man calm down. I am just telling the truth your country is just too weak to stand up against canada and america. I am postive that i would kick your ass too in a fight because you are probably some small skinny guy.

  • @Doddle3456345 haha bring it on mate, i will seriously kick your fuckin head in, fly over here

  • @Doddle3456345 Said it before say it again fucking doubt it mate plus none of you would attack us anyway fucking moron

  • @beefy595 Of Coarse they won't attack because it would be stupid to get rid of britian because they help us out. Besides if we destroy Britian we would lose a powerful ally. I just don't think Britian has a chance on Gods green earth to ever hope to defeat the Canadians or Americans.

  • BRAVO PLATOON RIPPED SHIT UP

  • To all you Canadians....

We Americans truly are grateful for your international support as well as your strong alliance with our country. Please don't let the negative comments bother you...trust me, most of them are probably quotes from "How I Met Your Mother". I highly believe most people are just joking around with them.

  • 1:46 That soldier look Bad Ass

  • "Bravo with me, lets go eh"

  • @lolgut

    pussy canadian bitch!

  • @FlowerPerplex look at the pussy american making fun of men and women who could kick his fat ass anyday. i hope your mom rots in hell for what you said

  • @silentrogue3

    Canadians = Cowards

    Americans = Amazing

  • @FlowerPerplex why dont you come up here and say that too my face, oh wait your too fat to roll out of bed.

  • @silentrogue3

bitch im tall and thin and I would gladly take a bus all the way up to downtown toronto, whip out my massive American cock, and take a huge piss all over your gay ass maple leaf flag!!

None of yall would do shit cuz yall are fuckin pussy bitches!

  • @FlowerPerplex your about as tall as a fucking 4 year old girl and as thin as a pick up. And im sorry to say but a 3inch cock isnt considered big up here. And that maple leaf has accomplished more then your pathetic excuse for a life can ever live up to.

  • @FlowerPerplex Too bad you dont have any reasonable explanation for your pointless hate against Canadians. You must be a prepubescent little boy whos balls havent dropped yet. "Canadians=Cowards Americans=Amazing" Lol.

  • @jeedo31

I don't "hate" Canada, or Canadians. Canada isn't important enough to hate. I have the same relationship with Canada as the old women I push out of my way in the grocery store....weak and demoralized, I enjoy making life even worse for the weak!

    xD

  • @FlowerPerplex Canada=one of the wealthiest countries in the world, has one of the best economies in the world even during the recession, not TRILLIONS of dollars in DEBT to China like your broke American ass,one of the best healthcare systems in the world and its FREE unlike YOURS.USA's BIGGEST trading partner, owns the 2nd largest deposit of oil reserves on the planet, also holds ownership to most of the worlds fresh water, uranium, and potash. 80% of the oil you import comes from CANADA.

  • @FlowerPerplex Shall I go on? we're not "weak" or "demoralized". Im talking to a fucking retard.

  • @jeedo31

Canada's debt is much larger %-wise, Einstein.

  • @FlowerPerplex Maybe so but what i stated in my last post sure shut your fucking trap. Like I said we're not "weak" or "demoralized",Einstein.

  • @jeedo31

Canadians are VERY weak and demoralized as a nation, and Canadians are also very insecure about being Canadian.

  • @FlowerPerplex stop sayin sh*t about canada for a fact the US and Canada actually work together ....if you guys r so smart why dont u get off ur lazy azzes and we will se how you do risking UR LIFE in afganistan, btw dont insult us ur named the "biggest country" ifu know what i mean ;) an example is u! stop eatin McD's and get ur lazy ass of the computer.....btw how do u know what canadians are like, ur american??? <---see ur stupid statements

  • we are weak? ask a ww1 or ww2 german veteran what they think of the canadian armed forces... while your country was in shambles, and had a piece of shit armed forces, canada was fighting the german empire. america didnt become powerful until after the second world war. canada was powerful long before that... look up vimy ridge, or passchendale, or battle of the somme, 100 years ago, while americans wer still not at war, canada was winning some of the most important battles in history

  • @FlowerPerplex Get an education before you open your mouth. Haha...How come your super power of a nation always asks Canada for help when in time of conflict? We're always helping you out. Last time I checked Canada has never once asked the U.S for help its always the other way around. Get smart, thanks.

  • @jeedo31 I respect the Canadain Forces but the Canadains havn't asked us to be in a conflict because there hasn't been a conflict that we weren't in that you were in too except for the beggining of WW2 but it was the british that asked us to join the war and Canada knew that the people of USA didn't want to go into the war so to save diplomatic relations they didn't

  • @Deadsmile100 Canada and the UK actually fought 90% of WW1 before the Americans joined in. :\

  • @jeedo31 Canada wasn't a separate country back then well they weren't either in WW2 but they were more royal in WW1 then in WW2 they were forced into the war since they were part of the British empire so its basically Britain

  • @Deadsmile100 Canada wasn't apart of the British Empire in WW2... Canada was/is apart of the Commonwealth and so are a lot of other nations. Yet, at the same time, they are independent of the UK in terms of governance. The Queen is still held as a monarch, but at the same time, she isn't the ruler in the similar way the UK no longer has rule underneath her. Canada joined WW2 willingly seven days after the UK.

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 True. Canada independantly declaired war on Germany Italy and Japan all by itself. Even though I don't think we were involved in Japan, we still independantly declaired war.

  • @Poseidon500 Yup that's pretty much it. When Poland was invaded, war declared by the UK and France, Canada joined in. And thus, Canada declared war against all involved in the Axis Powers. While Canada didn't fight in Japan the same way the US did, Canada did, however, fight the Japanese. (Battle of Hong Kong)

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 i ment in WW1 not in WW2 >.>

  • @Deadsmile100 WWI we didn't declare war, but we (1,00,000) went anyway, because we don't back down when it comes to aiding those that need true aid. So much crap people post about Canada and it's forces... I had some guy from Sweden tell me that Canada does nothing in any war and is useless. And that in Afghanistan we're useless.

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 Canada is not useless in a war its like saying that the small little countries in the Napoleonic war did nothing and but in fact they do and in WW1 it was not a choice Canada was a Dominion of Britain and all Dominions such as India had to help is some sort of way and America got in the war because of Economics, Politics and the fuck load of German submarines on the East coast

  • @Deadsmile100 No doubt. For it's size, Canada was a total beast in WWI and II and we still are. There is just so much that people regard as "cool" and "fact" because of games and movies. You can have a million people in your army, but when faced with opponents that are much more trained - you won't stand a chance. The fins held off the Russians a little prior to WWII, and they were regarded as an easy take over.

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 Well in the war today US soldiers are doing much better in Afghanistan then Canada for 2 reasons 1. For Canada about every 16 soldiers that goes over there 1 dies for USA its every 47 that 1 dies, 2. US has killed the most HVT's

Yes Canadian Soldiers are better trained but US seems to have Technology and Numbers on there side and US is decently trained for there marines. The winter war you were talking about was easy for Finland because Stalin lead the armies

  • @Deadsmile100 Yes, but think about this - if one is put into a region that is extremely violent and chaotic, you will no doubt lose more then your willing to When the US troops mainly focused on Iraq, Canada was leading the assault in Afghanistan. Also, the amount HVT's killed by one nation over another doesn't mean anything. HVT's are actively hunted by all nations but the US more so. Not to take away from anyone, but the US is out there to kill anyone associated with AQ or Talibs. ISAF - nope.

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 there hunted by all nations but US is finds and kills the most and there are no more combat troops in iraq any more and even when they had combat forces in iraq they still had more troops in iraq and in afghanistan then any other country

  • @Deadsmile100 Exactly my point, if the United States has more troops on the ground then any other nation out there, then of course they will be more active in hunting HVT's. The more boots you have the more operations and missions one can operate. Not to mention that a lot of the ISAF/NATO members place heavy restrictions on their troops, forcing them to follow grid lines in terms of operations.

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 Well then whats the argument?

  • @Deadsmile100 Well the argument at hand was that you stated the Yanks were doing better then Canada, which I don't think is true. Not saying they are doing bad, just that the death-rate presented in your other comment ... didn't seem like something you could rely on. Death happens in war, but to base a nations success based upon how many have not died ... is not really a good idea. Not to mention complications such as friendly fire and accidental death, both of which have added to the number.

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 First of all don't call them Yanks i'm not American but i find it insulting to call a people from a country yanks, cannuckers if i spelled that right and sense this is not a war but a nearly a operation its not as bad to not finish it as the consequences are much less thats why its more important to keep people alive plus i believe america is doing better then any countries if its Finding Caches, not dieing, finding HVT, Diplomatic affairs to just doing a combat role

  • @Deadsmile100 Insulting? Almost as much as they call us Canucks, it's not that big of a deal, but as you wish. But you also forget that America has more troops then all of NATO in Afghan. So, it's not that hard to understand that they'll have more operations and more teams down there then a nation such as Canada. More resources means more areas covered. And as a result, the US has more inured or KIAs then any other nation there. The more people you have the more you send = the more of everything

  • @BlackBurgerShot2 Yea true but thats my point thats why i think USA is doing a very nice job in Afghanistan compared to other countries even though they get a unfair advantage because of the numbers and i'm sure if America and Canada were to have the same numbers Canada would do better but numbers is part of war cant do as much low on numbers then a country with much higher

  • @Deadsmile100 In their own right, some nations are pulling more weight then one would expect. Could we state that when the US was primarily focused on Iraq and NATO was left with Afghanistan, that a lot of nations were punching above their weight tenfold, including Canada? Yes, I think we can. The US military is unmatched in the world, thus saying that they are doing a better job compared to some other nation doesn't really state more then what is no doubt going to seem like the typical outcome.

  • @Deadsmile100 These stats are just false

  • @TheGuyWithAWeirdName Well if you can find your own i would like to know them

  • @Deadsmile100 start with wikipedia and do some basic math

153 deaths, a deployment is at least 2500, and they rotate every 6 months in a pool of 60 000 reg and 40 000 res

  • @TheGuyWithAWeirdName Ok i will take the math from a pool of the regulars So you said that Canada has around 60,000 reg and America has around 1,400,000 America has around 1,368 deaths and Canada has 153 so for about every 392 Canadian Regulars 1 is killed. and so for America every 1,208 regulars die and the United States has about 23x bigger Regular pool than Canada does but only
