I made about 10 of these today! I have trouble with the tinfoil part. I can't draw one that looks right, but I love the idea and they will make great gifts for next year as well as my own decorations! Thanks for another terrific tutorial!!
I just made one, very cute, not as cute or perfect as yours Jenny. But it looks good, practice makes perfect! I love the foil idea!!! I used a bunch of scraps I had to make a scrappy ornament! Where could I send you a picture? Also how about a tute on the tree quilt behind you with the blocks too, very cute!! Thanks Jenny and to the MSQC< love the tutes!!
This is great going to start these tomorrow, it looks like you cut the strips 1 1/2 inch. Is that correct? I love your videos Jenny you are the best teacher.
*cute idea* i love it!!!! i also love that all your pins are grouped together by color on ur cushion! .......LOVE IT! these orniments would look amazing hanging in windows for xmas (with both sides looking neat it would look good from the inside and out) thanks for sharing!!!! how about making smaller ones.....stuffing them....and actually hanging them on a tree?! or decorating homade christmas cards with them.... wow the possibilities are endless!!!! :D
well we made 2 this weekend, each in under 30 minutes ,w Gram doing the cutting and ironing, and grandson doing all the sewing , we added our own touches by using fancy stitches across the topper and the horizontal rows just to practice sewing and he was excited to have a "make it,take it" project all done and ready to give.
yet another , wonderful ,easy sew idea ! This will be fun to do with the grandkids that are now beginner sewers. If I am ((( wowed))) by this ,and I am , I know my little sewer will come away with geat sense of accomplishment and have great gift to give as plate holder, candle mat even or simply a decorative ornament to hang. Thank you Jenny

This is a wonderful idea...so it doesn't matter the width or length of the strips as they will be cut out into a 9"circle?
