Yeah, this is just a beta, if you look at the forums and at the Nasa page, they are working on a MMO, called Astronaut: Moon, Mars and Beyond. they aim to make science more appealing and to educate people with there games, I hope they make more because this game alone is really realistic and cool

The whole game consists of 1 scenario, using welder, using wrench and riding a small robots - that's all.

The game runs on UT3 engine, UT3 does not run on Linux/Mac so blame Epic. Also Valve never announced steam for Linux.

I don't have Windows and I certainly don't want to install it. I hope that Steam and others give a chance to the Linux-community to enjoy some nice games (not that there are no cool games for Linux but you'll agree that all great commercial games are for Windows and sometimes for MacOS too).

@dragonxd1124 Its fun yes, but to enhance the game experience, I'd recommend playing with friends because the game does a terrible job for a tutorial system but as you explore some of the tools and stuff that you can use it gets fun.

Or you could take the time to weld and solder circuit boards and other stuff quickly. Or both, you could work with one guy, or 5 other guys. You could be out there working with the group, or at the mission control station monitoring progress and remotely controlling lunar landers for who are to far

@SnaffleJBean I don't think they made it to make money. Like America's Army, I think they made it to spur interest in NASA to create a new generation of scientists and astronauts, which I personally think is genius because school probably will be more than willing to use this game for teaching.
