you know only professionals have to care about those wood frames. Most google sketchup users don't think of putting woodframes in their walls. Even i don't cuz im not a professional yet.
I think this is a nice video. I know there are small utility programs out there that display on the screen the clicks you are making. That might be useful for you so you don't have to say out loud that you are right clicking or clicking while holding shift-command-s.
When you say you're notching the plywood, what are you doing there?

For complex items I prefer components. Especially when I can take a 20MB file down to a 1.3MB file.
