A King's wife is able to be Queen because technically a King is over a Queen-so when a king's wife is made queen she's still lower than him. When a woman is crowned Queen, her husband cannot be made King as he would then be deemed to be higher than her & rightful ruler.

So W-A's,Frederik's, Haakon's & even Charles' (if he wants) wives can be Queen but C.P. Victoria of Sweden's husband won't be King but stay a prince.

@HateFenians Who's a divorcee-are you talking about Maxima or Camilla? Maxima isn't a divorcee-that would be Princess Letizia of Spain who will be Queen despite that.

Charles has been divorced himself-his wife being divorced won't matter. The reason they said she wouldn't be Queen is because of Diana, but Charles can still make her queen if he wants.

Make Charles illegitimate-HOW? Because of the divorced thing? No, Charles will be King-the throne can't skip over him; it doesn't work like that.
