well i think u dont know much abt music and expressions. rafi sahab is the only singer whos voice was used on every actor like dilip kumar, rajender kumar, shammi k, rishi k, shashi k, dharmindra, jatindra, rajesh khana, dev anad and so on a long list . his voice was used even on kishor kumar as an actor. search here u will find that video. kishor is no doubt a great singer but the variation of voice and romance was only in rafi sahab.
@Rahee1999 You are wrong Rafi's version of Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan was best from the two versions of Rafi and Kishore, and Rafi's voice was used for younger Shashi Kapoor and Kishore's voice for older Bharat Bhooshan. If you want to sing a kishore song, take one empty tin and sing and you will sound like Kishore. Rafi was and is still the best.

Beg to differ. I happen to be one of 'the current generation' and I adore Rafi. So, FYI, do those I know who love old hindi songs. I like KK too, but when it comes to mastery over vocals, M Rafi wins, hands down. I can't think of anyone else who could sing boisterous, upbeat songs and soulful ballads with equal perfection. There is no song he has sung in which his voice or emotions seem contrived. Again, I do like kishore, but Rafi...he defies description. Magnificent singer. Period.

Mohammad Rafi was the best singer of his generation. No disrespect to Kishore Kumar but Rafi saab had the vocals.

Kishore was way more talented than Rafi..no disrespect to a legend..but certainly Rafi was not as versatile as Kishore..Rafi is outclassed in the "tum bin jaoon kahan' sung both by Rafi & kishore..Kishore's vocal gymnastics yodeling made him a unique singer..perhaps the most multfaceted talent ever born that is Kishore Kuman.

well i think u dont know much abt music and expressions. rafi sahab is the only singer whos voice was used on every actor like dilip kumar, rajender kumar, shammi k, rishi k, shashi k, dharmindra, jatindra, rajesh khana, dev anad and so on a long list . his voice was used even on kishor kumar as an actor. search here u will find that video. kishor is no doubt a great singer but the variation of voice and romance was only in rafi sahab.

@Rahee1999 You are wrong Rafi's version of Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan was best from the two versions of Rafi and Kishore, and Rafi's voice was used for younger Shashi Kapoor and Kishore's voice for older Bharat Bhooshan. If you want to sing a kishore song, take one empty tin and sing and you will sound like Kishore. Rafi was and is still the best.

@PrinceEhich Atrue music lover will never arue like this. Both Mohd Rafi and Kishoreda were msters in their own right. But Kishoreda is still favourite with even the urrent genration. Abolutely n doubt about it.

@chokhalal what nonsense about todays generation liking kishore, they have never heard about him at all, if you visit U.K. try to use tube and see for yourself and the only ones who will be liking them are those paan chewing types found in remote areas of your country perhaps

Beg to differ. I happen to be one of 'the current generation' and I adore Rafi. So, FYI, do those I know who love old hindi songs. I like KK too, but when it comes to mastery over vocals, M Rafi wins, hands down. I can't think of anyone else who could sing boisterous, upbeat songs and soulful ballads with equal perfection. There is no song he has sung in which his voice or emotions seem contrived. Again, I do like kishore, but Rafi...he defies description. Magnificent singer. Period.

@M11RZA all muslims are always barking for other muslims and why won't them they are blinded by their religion which considers it legitimate to kill all non-muslims. So when the religion itself propogates killing of non-muslims the followers can't be expected to behave to talk any sensible things at all.
