  • ok? from what i know don't push ups go ALL the way UP and DOWN and not half way? I do 100 pushups (not continuously) and i do them all the way up and all the way down... i

  • Good Work Man.Anywayz for normal grip push up ur chin doesnt have to touch the ground.In Army or any fighting art a push up is when ur CHEST TOUCHES the ground.. But as Ahmad said he wasnt going for that in this video so stop complaing about it

    That's a challange, a fun goal and if you are not good at doing pushups ( like me, in the beginning I could do a maximum of ten) this is a fun thing to have as a goal to see how you have improved!

    And yes, this might not be the best workout ever but don't u think that he has another workout? It says "100 pushup challenge" and not " work out your whole body and loose all your fat in three days by doing 100 pushups a day".

  • wow...another fool who thinks that doing 100 half ass push ups is good. i do 68 in 60 seconds of full arm extended and down till my chin is on the floor. people dont be fooled by this shit. its like when you walk into the gym and there is a fat loser with 1000 lb on the bench doing 3 reps and he ds his arms like 2 inches. FULL RANGE OF MOTION IS THE ONLY WAY TO WORK OUT

  • Doing a hundred pushups doesn't build up chest really on what I like doing is small sets of thirty put in a cardio circuit training session though you build more muscles that way than just doing it all in one motion like that but also do different types of push ups besides palm pushups do fist,finger tips,inlcine ext.

  • by doing pushups like this you will not build much muscle, nor will you get any stronger. You will get a better endurance, and your body will get better at getting rid of lactic acid. For people who want to build muscle as fast as possible, I would not recomment pushups, at least not if you can do more than 12-15. I myself can do about 150 pushups, and I only work out at the gym lifting heavy weights with low (5-7) reps.

  • about 2 years ago i was up too 250 pushups.. but since i got out of school i can only do about 100

  • I use the wider grip too. Working with Perfect Pushups, it's helped me keep good form and I feel like regular pushups are easier! 100 pushup challenge is still a challenge i havent taken yet.. but i will after seeing this! =)

  • I'm not bragging but most people cannot do 1000 push ups and most people do not believe me that i can do 1000 push ups..i use the iron gym, i use chairs for inclined push ups to go deeper... one of these days i will video tape myself and post it here on youtube so i can show everybody that I'm a fucking machine.... i do intense work out...i can bench 135 pounds 500x, then 225 pounds 100x then i bench 275 as many times as i can. but when i do 1000 push ups that's all i do.. motivation is slayer

  • i can do 1000 push ups.... i use the iron gym... i do sets of 30 or 40 push up till i get to 100... and I keep going till i reach 1000.... different ways..diamond, wide and closer...so yes i do 1000 push ups and it usually takes me an hour and 24 mins to do 1000 push ups....i usually take a minute break in between sets..

  • Hey man! That type of push up is quite effective! Some people might say it is a partial push up but I know from experience that it is a great chest burner and produces very solid results!

  • First time doing this i did it in around 5 minutes. Are you susposed to "feel it" in your pectoral muscles ( pecs) because i was feeling it in my arms

  • What counts as a pushup? The palms must be at shoulder-width. The body must remain straight throughout, i.e., no bending at knees or waist. The body must be lowered until at least 90 degree-angle is attained at the elbow and the body is parralel to the ground. The body must then be raised until the arms are straight. This equals one push-up. All pushups should be made on a hard surface. This basic principle applies to all our push-up entries with minor modifications.

  • @ProGamingProduction I have found a little trick to increase my output is to count by 2 or even threes. I tend to still get pretty much the same count but with twice the reps.....

  • I dont get what people mean by "improper form", there are MANY ways to do a push up, I do those as well, we(friends) call them Mini Push ups, or just Minis. They are killer, I can go up to 120 with those. good shit man.

  • when the arms are spread its more concentrated on the chest, whille if you do it close to your body, te workout wil be concentrated on the for arm. Nice vid!

  • @Darkman862 because with push ups you're training more endurance than strength. notice when you do weight you do around 6-12 reps per set. so your body adapted and gave you more strength for less endurance. you should incorporate push ups into your workout routine. don't give those up.

  • @djmarthin you are too young these guys are 18+ ... go swin to make a chest then after you make a bone structure then start gain mustle because there is no use to go now in the gym cuz ur gonna stay the height you are now ;( and u don't want that ;) know it from my personal experience.

  • your not going all the way down, im not saying your soft cuz your pretty jacked but push ups are 10 times easier when you spread your arms, legs out and only go half way. still what you did is impressive

  • @makingthebest09 I have to agree with DonkeyDong156. Just like how you were going through the full range, locking them out at the top towards the end, thats how I was taught. You can definitely knock more out by by going just 3/4 way up. With all that said, thanks for the motivational clips.

  • @DonkeyDong156 a correct pushup is like that^^ your arms should make a 90 degree angle and the wider the stance the more work its doing to your shoulders and pectorals

  • @ssgokuliu eat low carbs for 6 days then on the 7th day of the week eat double the carbs so you don't lose nutrients. Also make sure you eat healthy and have proper nutrietion because you're last 2 are hidden under your bodyfat. Crunches help your core and tighten abs for washboard.

  • very good, I used to do a 100 push ups every night before I went to sleep. Before I had a gym membership. I got up to 150. I find it more effective to do slower push up in full range of motion. Can only do about 80 of those, good video tho

  • Yo, im going into Navy bootcamp 3 1/2 months and Navy Seals training shortly after. I want to be able to do atleast 100 pushups without rest. I can currently only do 50 pushups without rest. Basically, i need to double my pushups in about 3 months. Is it possible? We'll find out. I really appreciate all these videos youve made. Its all very god information. Thanks.

  • @1984chupacabra yes you can... lets start doing this...do as many as you can..until you can't do anymore...then hold in plank position..for 30 seconds... keep adding more reps...but always finish with the 30 second hold...~ahmad

  • Ahmad, this is what I'm working on right now. I can do 10 push ups now. I know it's not much but it's a start. The girly push-ups I can do 50 of those but full body push-ups I am working very hard on. Wish me luck.
