That's not necessarily going to stop homophobes thinking they are right, but if children are brought up with more equality, then surely that tells them that that's what should be the case? So, they will grow up to be more tolerant and accepting of other people, and the bullying and therefore the suicide will decrease. Just what I think.

I really don't understand what the other side of this argument is. If we are all made in God's image, and some of us are gay, that must mean that God had some intention of making gay people. It doesn't matter what people classify 'marriage' to be now, we can always change that.
