...PI's formate may not be that good. but if you will look at the kind of finalists and their vocal quality and performance, PI finalists are better than PDA. (even the jurors of PDA admits the need for stage presentation to improve by the finalists)

look at the performance not to the packaging of show...

... especially warrens URONG SULONG KA version. unlike PDA's Bea who is admittedly has no musicality (by gerard salonga and his bf miguel) pardon me from saying this, every network has it's marketing strategy. and unfortunately, it was quite obvious for abs to choose finalists who have 'it'stories rather than to choose someone who has the singing capability. napanood ko yung audition for PDA, maraming magagaling na hindi nkapsok dahil mas pinili yung mag asawa at mag bf...

okay, i admit in terms of process of teaching the finalists, PDA is really good, especially the technical aspect of singing, taken from the show, it is an ACADEMY. but, only FEW of the finalists are good. e.g. liezel adand bugoy.

however,

in terms of performance and singing ability, and voice quality, PINOY IDOL is way much better becasue when they sing, they sing who they are not mimicking the original singer of the song. e.g. performance of penelope (beauty and madness) , robby (greatesluvof

girl tanggapin mo ung mga criticism about the show.. tanggapin na rin sana ng gma7 ang criticism di ung idedefend pa ung shop e talaga namang flop na show na... ang pwede nilang gawin e pagandahin ang show sa natitirang araw nito... magwawakas na ang show e di pa pala kilala ang mga contestants... no comparison to pda... dito kasi sa pinas e may malakas ang kamag anakan system so i believe din na di magwowork ang 100% text vote lang ang pipili sa mananalo...
