@SportHorse10 apparently, IU's character has lost her husband, so she travels to the land of the dead to find him.....only to realize that he's changed. IU grows shocked by his violent demeanor and can't seem to recognize him anymore. The "grim reaper" takes pity, so she enables IU to see her husband one last time (you know, when he was nice)...it's really quite beautiful and abstract :) I hoped this helped

The story of the mv is basically this:

IU traveled to the land of the dead to see her dead husband/boyfriend. The souls in the land of the dead looks different to what they look like in the 'real' world. When she saw the man at 1:54-1:56 she was frightened and tried to ran away. Unfortunately that man was actually her loved one. In the end the goddess of the land of the dead took pity on her and finally showed her loved one in the end, which was Thunder.
