  • Are you using Microsoft OneNote 2010?

  • @gmilstein No, this video is rather old now and I am using an older version of Office. I'm using OneNote 2010 now and it is amazing!

  • what tablet pc and pen brands are you using exactly?

  • @gmilstein In this video I am using a Toshiba M405 Tablet PC which uses a WACOM pen and digitizer.

  • How do i change the tablet pen led? pleaseeeee reply back

  • @MapleAndAnimeCrazy It depends on what type of pen you have. To be honest, I take the tip of my pen out with my teeth. Be careful, if you try to take the tip out of a pen that has a non-replaceable tip you will destroy the pen forever!

  • @jjhat1 How do i Know if its non replaceable? o_o I mean, my pen led is really small right now, and Ive got a spare led, but I dont know for sure what to do.

  • @MapleAndAnimeCrazy If you have a spare then you should be able to replace it. It should have came with a tool to pull it out. However, I can easily pull out the tip of my pen with my teeth. Try that. It should not take that much force to pull it out.

  • @jjhat1 Well mine didn't come with a spare led, my cousin lent it to me o_o do does that mean its non replaceable? If so how do I change it? Sorry for the trouble im really stuck :/

  • do i need to use one note? can i write direct onto powerpoint slides?

  • It is possible to write on PowerPoint slides but that is not always the most efficient way to take notes. Printing to OneNote is a great way to make your notes highly searchable and organized.

  • thanks jarred,

a question regarding the actual process of wrtiing, can i write in normal size, as if i am writing with normal pen/paper. or with a tablet i need to write bigger than normal becuase the resolution isnt that great on a tablet?

  • reason i ask because i do alot of annotation over the lecturers powerpoint slides. and if i have to write in large manner, i prob wont fit everything in on each slide.

  • You typically end up writing slightly larger on a Tablet PC than you do on a piece of paper, however in the end it typically ends up being smaller. The reason is, unlike when you are using a piece of paper, you can zoom on a tablet. This means when you are writing on something you can increase the magnification so you can write larger and fit everything you need into the space available.

  • Even if you don't have a Tablet PC OneNote is an excellent piece of software to organize notes of any kind. Not only does it divide them into manageable notebooks, section groups, sections, pages, and sub-pages, it makes them easily searchable. Additionally, you can print to OneNote from other applications to import important documents such as Word Documents, PowerPoint files, or PDFs so they are all in one place and searchable.

  • should I still use one note even if I don't have a tablet pc?

  • That was great! You are an excellent speaker. I deal with a lot of professionals, you got the gift of gab!

  • hey i have touch screen computer. the latest HP touchsmart PC - i wanted to get a tablet but this comp has alot of features that sorta seem like i wouldnt really NEED a tablet. (i would use my tablet on photoshop for drawing and other work)

but im not sure. what do you think? would it be the same just using the screen like a tablet? or should i get a tablet?

    please help

    thanks.
