It's weird how it says there are TWO hurricane warnings and a flash flood watch and yet when you see the local radar at 0:25 there is no hurricane.

You can see how HUGE that thing was! We here in the Tampa area were getting the outer clouds from it all the way back to its development east of Miami!

I wonder if Katrina was a Cat 5 at that time it was approaching... but whether it was or not, it was SCARY.

@wdm1219 it was a Cat 5 at that time and it had just been upgraded to Cat 5 about 30 min before this was recorded.

looking at the high of 94 wednesday reminds me of how hot it was every day after and it didn't rain for a month after so you could see the line in my yard of how close the water got to my house because the grass was still green there. I remember we slept outside for a week until we got a generator
