Of course her sense of entitlement is wrong but if those cops would treat a fellow officer (woman) like that without any physical provocation.....imagine what they do to regular citizens. Well, you really don't really have to imagine....im sure you can find enough of it on YouTube.

The true criminals out there thank the cops who turn traffic stops into ordeals like this, in order to show that they have above average penile endowment.
@kinghotsauce1 Your right when you say that no one deserves to have their face slammed to the ground when its not needed. However, she deserved it. @Tappedurassout So you would write a citizen who is SOLELY responsible for your salary and benefits a ticket, but not a cop??? No surprise, they cover for each other every time and justice is rarely served upon them. Later
@pjicleanair420 It's not a matter of covering up shit. Giving a fellow officer a break on a $185 speeding ticket is just a perk of the job--big fucking deal. Don't worry there are the "10%" in everything and they write other cops tickets too. I guess it's one of the perks for dodging bullets for 30k a year. I think you have it better I am sure. So quit your bitching about a poor cop getting a break on a stupid speeding ticket. We aren't talking about breaks for major crimes.
@Tappedurassout 30k a year than its fine perk. Around here 100k plus pension and early retirement is a nice perk in itself if you ask me. Its a dangerous job but so are many others that dont get these kind of benefits or perks.
@raf1919 Yah! and the road to becoming a police officer..is not a easy one. so if they are gettin 100k plus..they deserve it. I wonder if you question million dollar bonuses, big bank CEO's get for doing nothing.
@jbbirdcars what CEOs and other PRIVATE companies make is their business, its their money. Public money is a different story. I know the road to becoming Police very well, as I pursued it myself but a motorcycle injury end it for me. I went for it because of the money simple as that, no other job can you come out making that much that fast with so little qualification needed. I"m not dissing a the job, but lets be honest, there is reason why every test i attended had 500+ people easy money.
@raf1919 No! as of 2006 what banks have been doing, is our business...bail out money.. that is my business. and I agree lot of people run to take that test, but only half truly make it. It's not easy money when some cracked out fool, is taking shots at you....
As bad as it sounds, what she says is true. Cops almost never get in any trouble for breaking traffic laws, (or many others, for that matter). They could run right through a red light going 100 mph, enough to get anyone else arrested, and get off without any consequences. If you're a cop, you actually are pretty close to being above the law...
@DJDnyce210 Um no...she started going back into the car after he told her to turn around and put her hands behind her back. She was resisting arrest at that point, she should've done it sooner before he decided to cuff her disrespectful ass.
if these fuckers were all forced to sit down and smoke a joint together i bet they could work things out without all the violence and ill will .... ;)
All could have been avoided if she identified herself in a professional manner and not pulled an attitude. The arresting officers also do not need to nor are they taught to lecture people about their infractions. They sat there arguing with her. Either issue a ticket or let her go. They escalated the situation. Both sides are wrong on this.
Wow...did you hear how she expected to get special treatment? She said if she pulled over an officer, even if he was going 100 mph, she'd just tell him to have a good night. I don't expect cops to give each other tickets of course, but you would think they would at least tell them to drive more carefully. This crazy lady just expected to completely get off. She's nuts. She represents everything that is wrong with some cops.
Conflicting messages delivered by one of the investigating officer got her in the situation to be man-handeled and bloodied, its not her fault, she basically acted normally, he told her to get back in the car or she is going to jail and when she obeys him and gets back in the car she is told in the exact next second to put her hands behind her back, and then not even given a chance to she is manhandeled and bloodied. Basically a case of bad cops arresting what looks to be otherwise good cop.
Man they must not screen officer applicants very well over there. I've applied to be an officer before although I never went through with it due to financial restraints ( couldn't financially support myself during the 6 month academy) and though I was accepted I remember the scrutiny and thorough evaluations that I endured (and rightfully so). How did she get past all that? There are problems with this woman from A_- Z.
lol you need to know how to act, bitch you need to learn how to fight my 19 year old ass, i'd smash your faggoty fuck popo ass. Try to display your authority on me cause you THINK you being a cop has any influence on me, you act like a cop, i treat you like a cop, you act like a power tripper, i slap the shit out of you when i find out where you live
what's that Hell is wrong with our country? we should be arresting criminals not police officer. yeah she misbehave but dam we have to follow the laws not break the laws. Now a day some police officers are behaving like criminals not all of them thank GOD. We appreciate the job protecting the citizens.
I bet the REAL bad guys are enjoying watching how stupid you guys screw each other up. How about a little common sense on both sides. Knock off the I'll show him/I'll show her attitudes!
@HollowayPi Most people get treated just fine, only the ones who give an attitude, wanna argue, then attempt to leave when they are told they are under arrest, then resist get treated like that. Most people are very polite and are treated very polite in return.
@Lord666Belial Agreed! Her attitude escalated the situation...She should have stayed in the vehicle and kept her mouth shut and remained compliant. The officer might have let her go with a harsh warring.
that's why it's important, if you come in contact with an officer...keep your mouth shut!! If your a cop or the public keep your mouth close...cause theres alot of A-holes on the job now...and they don't respect anybody. Both officers where wrong...
She talked herself into that arrest. If she had simply been compliant and courteous, this would have ended differently for her. Law enforcement or not, the concept of being respectful applies. I have 30 years in public safety and have never once used my ID to get out of something. I can count on one hand the number of times I have been stopped for a violation, and each time I was released with a warning as I was courteous, never identifying myself as law enforcement until after I was warned.
@FireSarge30 So you're telling us you can be arrested based on what you say? That is BS. Too much power is given to cops. I agree that it's a good idea to be respectful but we all SHOULD have the freedom of speech.
@sabbie7 - No. You are not understanding what I am saying. What I am saying is that your words and actions CAN have an impact on the Officer's discretion in either issuing a warning or a citation. For example, if you are caught speeding, see the Officer and stop promptly, be honest and not argumentative...the Officer may see fit to give a warning of he/she feels you will accept and heed the warning. If, however, you argue and are nasty, the Officer will let you explain to the judge.
@FireSarge30 I agree completely, I have been stopped for speeding several times and every time the cops give me a warning because I was polite. My friend however, has 3 speeding tickets because every time he gets stopped he mouths off to the cop about how everyone does it
@ausdude77 - Indeed. It's all about whether or not the violator will heed a warning or needs more expensive reminder. Sadly, there are those who question us no matter what we do. Just people with an ax to grind.
@sabbie7 That having been said; the violator here (Off duty Officer), was driving recklessly, became argumentative, rude and belligerant with the Officers who stopped her. Like anyone else, she deserved a citation as she would not heed a warning and then failed to follow a lawful order. It was her own actions that resulted in her arrest. She brought it on herself.
I like how since its a cop all you assholes think its ok. But if it was anyone else including criminals all of you would be talking so much shit about the arresting officers. Don't be a criminal and you wont have problems with authority. If these comments don't apply to you then don't take offense. Also since she was a cop she should know the procedure and realize they are just doing thier jobs but think it was a little excessive. Have a good day.
but yeah, anytime you get pulled over - say f-you to a cop after getting out of your car, then reaching back... man, woman, teenager, cop, or military veteran. your making it big on youtube
i dont think she needed to be slammed onto the ground, i mean teeth don't grow back in your late thirties. i just don't get why she acted this way unless she was just really drunk
now this ex-cop kmows what a feeling when you are put in jail...for nothing, they can say later resisting arrest, disorderly conduc let me laugh!!! for sure now she is even regreting being once a police officer, what you expect from people that deal with criminals every day, only criminal behavior......
Of course, after being told she was arrested for resisting arrest and reckless driving, she was cited for reckless driving ONLY and allowed to go home. NO resisting arrest after her hubby the BAD LIEUTENANT got there.
He asked her to turn around and put her hands behind her back. She thought she was above them and just continued to get into her car. To prevent a potential chase due to her attitude he dragged her out and immobilized her. Her above them attitude was proven by the.. do you know who my husband is? My name is.....
Everyone her apparently has missed the point!! The cop who pulled her was an asshole. As a law enforcement family, although she was wrong, am appalled by their actions. Hope he felt like a real man as he busted her face against the pavement. Really????!!! Was all that necessary? If they are going to treat another cop or a cop's family like that then how do they treat the general public??? They pulled me acting like that for goiing 8 miles over the limit. Screaming in my face. I was appalled!!!
@Realtorindistress If she was not an officer, her action of getting out of the car and sticking her hand in her coat pocket would be reason enough for the cop to pull his gun, give her the taser, or worse have been shot.
Apparently, her husband did show up at the scene shortly after this video cuts off - but the DCSO says that he didn't intervene in any way. She ended up being charged with reckless driving but she was not arrested (contrary to what the title of this video says) and was released at the scene. She also lost her job, but the NCPD refused to comment on the specifics, and wouldn't confirm if it was related to this incident (seems obvious that it was, however)
At 6:30 into the clip did she say, "I'm a police officer! I'm above the law!" ? I really liked how she kept telling the officers that her husband was a Lieutenant and that they were going to be sorry. What a Beeeeotch! Kudos to the officers that didn't let her off the hook because she is a cop.
@dreakheart Just standard practice to control someone by placing them against a car/wall/fence(any immovable object) to prevent them from attempting to fight or run. Also, with dashcam it provides evidence as to what happened after the arrest so the person can't claim abuse post arrest.
Well, citizens do! And, because you're our servants (yep, our bytches), you do not get to use 'oh we are on the same team', that team is nothing but corrupt bigots. Politics, should at no time enter law-enforcement.
"Get in the vehicle or I'm going to take you to jail"
-"for what"...
LOL, how does it feel to wonder why an officer 'wants' to take you to jail, sucks don't it. I've heard many citizens ask 'for what', and only pisses them off more. You don't get to run home PIGLET!
well im from the south and the officer that got arrested thinks she is above the law because she is a cop as well but guess wat she is not. and when she is told to get back in the car and she does not and then says fuck you to the cop that is disorderly conduct and that down here in south carolina is against the law. and when you resist arrest down here in the south we put your ass in the dirt and the ask questions later.
to funny!!

Tappedurassout 2 weeks ago
@Tappedurassout So you would write a citizen who is SOLELY responsible for your salary and benefits a ticket, but not a cop??? No surprise, they cover for each other every time and justice is rarely served upon them. Later
pjicleanair420 2 weeks ago
@pjicleanair420 It's not a matter of covering up shit. Giving a fellow officer a break on a $185 speeding ticket is just a perk of the job--big fucking deal. Don't worry there are the "10%" in everything and they write other cops tickets too. I guess it's one of the perks for dodging bullets for 30k a year. I think you have it better I am sure. So quit your bitching about a poor cop getting a break on a stupid speeding ticket. We aren't talking about breaks for major crimes.
Tappedurassout 2 weeks ago
@Tappedurassout 30k a year than its fine perk. Around here 100k plus pension and early retirement is a nice perk in itself if you ask me. Its a dangerous job but so are many others that dont get these kind of benefits or perks.
raf1919 2 weeks ago
@raf1919 Yah! and the road to becoming a police officer..is not a easy one. so if they are gettin 100k plus..they deserve it. I wonder if you question million dollar bonuses, big bank CEO's get for doing nothing.
jbbirdcars 2 weeks ago
@jbbirdcars what CEOs and other PRIVATE companies make is their business, its their money. Public money is a different story. I know the road to becoming Police very well, as I pursued it myself but a motorcycle injury end it for me. I went for it because of the money simple as that, no other job can you come out making that much that fast with so little qualification needed. I"m not dissing a the job, but lets be honest, there is reason why every test i attended had 500+ people easy money.
raf1919 2 weeks ago
@raf1919 No! as of 2006 what banks have been doing, is our business...bail out money.. that is my business. and I agree lot of people run to take that test, but only half truly make it. It's not easy money when some cracked out fool, is taking shots at you....

So he placed her under arrest for getting out of the car? Pig.
hulksmash72 3 weeks ago
As bad as it sounds, what she says is true. Cops almost never get in any trouble for breaking traffic laws, (or many others, for that matter). They could run right through a red light going 100 mph, enough to get anyone else arrested, and get off without any consequences. If you're a cop, you actually are pretty close to being above the law...

That officer with the conflicting messages and violent actions should be fired and charged with assault.
alex3st 3 weeks ago

FireSarge30 1 month ago
@FireSarge30 So you're telling us you can be arrested based on what you say? That is BS. Too much power is given to cops. I agree that it's a good idea to be respectful but we all SHOULD have the freedom of speech.
sabbie7 1 month ago
@sabbie7 - No. You are not understanding what I am saying. What I am saying is that your words and actions CAN have an impact on the Officer's discretion in either issuing a warning or a citation. For example, if you are caught speeding, see the Officer and stop promptly, be honest and not argumentative...the Officer may see fit to give a warning of he/she feels you will accept and heed the warning. If, however, you argue and are nasty, the Officer will let you explain to the judge.
FireSarge30 1 month ago
@FireSarge30 I agree completely, I have been stopped for speeding several times and every time the cops give me a warning because I was polite. My friend however, has 3 speeding tickets because every time he gets stopped he mouths off to the cop about how everyone does it
ausdude77 1 month ago
@ausdude77 - Indeed. It's all about whether or not the violator will heed a warning or needs more expensive reminder. Sadly, there are those who question us no matter what we do. Just people with an ax to grind.
FireSarge30 1 month ago
@sabbie7 That having been said; the violator here (Off duty Officer), was driving recklessly, became argumentative, rude and belligerant with the Officers who stopped her. Like anyone else, she deserved a citation as she would not heed a warning and then failed to follow a lawful order. It was her own actions that resulted in her arrest. She brought it on herself.
FireSarge30 1 month ago
I like how since its a cop all you assholes think its ok. But if it was anyone else including criminals all of you would be talking so much shit about the arresting officers. Don't be a criminal and you wont have problems with authority. If these comments don't apply to you then don't take offense. Also since she was a cop she should know the procedure and realize they are just doing thier jobs but think it was a little excessive. Have a good day.

@dreakheart Just standard practice to control someone by placing them against a car/wall/fence(any immovable object) to prevent them from attempting to fight or run. Also, with dashcam it provides evidence as to what happened after the arrest so the person can't claim abuse post arrest.
