  • This song always reminds me of Lion King :-)

  • Wow! A true classic. This raise meh pores.. oh gorm!! Is not the original, but only Rudder could do it like this. GB is a talented fella, but he can't sing to save he own life! His gift is composing.

  • My favourite calypso of ALL TIME is the original version of this, written and performed by GB - Gregory Ballantyne. I can't find it anywhere!

I love David Rudder, and I'm glad I found this version here. It's a laid back, thoughtful interpretation, but this is not his song. Please, someone tell me where I can find the original. It NEVER fails to give me goosebumps!

  • I used to know this sound by heart....its been awhile, love calypso music.

  • third world friggin stagnation.... if u kno how dem lyrics hit meh eh.... STEUPS.

    why.. why lord, why.

  • god i did not even remind this song existed until i started to listen to it. all lyrics are inside my head... thank you... really, and god bless you... this music reminds me all my child happy times!

  • I was only 7 when this song came out but I really like it and I'm glad to see it here. The arrangement is really good and the words are a true depiction of creativity.

  • Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying this classic 1991 David Rudder track! This song sends a serious message in Rudder's album. Enjoy.
