This alarm was mild. I was frightened when on Celebrity Solstice. We were napping and jumped out of bed when this horribly loud alarm sounded. I wish ours was this mild. It was still the best experience of my life!!! I LOVE CELEBRITY!
@Preluding99 I actually wish they had alarms like the one your'e describing on Liberty of The Seas. The mini-horns in the staterooms were way too quiet.

Were you inside your cabin when this was being filmed? I love the alarm! I remember I had to help my grandma and aunt put on their lifejacket. It was my grandma's 3rd cruise and she didn't know how to put it on. I knew how to put it on and it was my first cruise!!!
On all cruise ships, they must have a mandatory assembly drill within 24 hrs of sailing, that is required by SOLAS and International Law. The Muster Drill is used for assembly on the vessel in the event of evacuation to teach passengers where they need to go to get on the right Life Boat or Life Raft.

The cabin alarm sounded like it was just speaker receiving a tone from some tone generator.

The boat uses the PA speakers in all areas and in hallways and public spaces have bells ans strobes. The bells and strobes are 230V.
