Wolfmother go for a really raw sort of classic/ garage rock sound. The simplicity and repetitive lyrics are what give it power. It's about the rhythm. Also, the singer is the guitarist, so whenever he decides to bring his mind to only doing one thing at a time, it's just bass/organ, guitar and drums. It was sorta funny at some points.
