I have listened to all of these tapes. The senior investigator should have told the other investigators to exit the room when she was confronted with her lies, and the investigator should of then began getting into her past to bring up her sadness and guilt. it may have taken 2 hours. I believe she would of confessed at some point. Past experience works 90% of the time. especially with first time violators. They still did good work!

Zanny is the drug Casey used to drug Caylee. She put her in the trunk, like I am sure she had many times while she was out partying. Caylee died while in the trunk, her body started to stink up the car, Casey tried to dig a hole in her back yard and for some reason she couldn't dig the hole. So Casey tossed her body in the trees where she use to play as a child. Then she ditched the car because the smell of Caylee's decomposing body didn't go away.

Around 5:10, when they ask her about the phone call that CASEY says she received from CAYLEE the day before, they ask her what did CAYLEE say when she was on the phone. CASEY says, "She said, 'HI MOMMY!'." They put her on the spot & she didn't know what to say , so she made up, "HI MOMMY" just to buy a little time to make up something more. Even a junior high student can lie better than this dumb bitch. So obviously a mental case!
I think what amazes me the most in all of her interviews is that she never REALLY seems upset. I'm the mother of three, and let me tell you...if any of MY children were MISSING...I would be flipping the fuck OUT. I would be in a state of panic. I'm quite sure that I would cry and yell and lose it. They would have to medicate me for anxiety. This, along with all of her lying, makes it pretty hard to believe that she has nothing to do with Caylee's disappearance.

Tony Lazarro said that he saw Casey crying while watching the video of Caylee reading the book at the old folks home. But did he say HOW she was watching it? Was she on the computer? Or cell phone? Does anyone know?

They really might have had a shot, had they have focussed on her pain and been understanding of the lack of feelings she had for her daughter. Their line of questionning could have focussed on how much of a burden a child is and how much she suffered because of that child and so on. That fight probably happened that day. That's why Casey spent a lot of that week at Ricardo's with Caylee, and something about that day stood out in Cindy's memory. Then you got Casey saying she was moving, parent's divorcing or her mom giving her the house, how she was looking for a house, a car, an apartment, that her father and her didn't have the strongest relationship. She answers like it's not serious just a joke that they are there to try to put things together at 2:59. Creepy.

I think the fact that the name of the co-worker she thought she'd been talking to about Caylee was "Juliet Lewis" (famous actress) should have been another clue about her mental state. Obviously the officers had to keep questioning her though, but I would have thought they would suspect serious mental illness at this point. Lies would make more sense

Yeah it would have been interesting if they asked her why she dropped off Caylee saying she was going to work when she got caught in the lie that she didn't work, so they could have asked her so why would you have dropped her off if you weren't going to work like you said. I have listened to all of these tapes. The senior investigator should have told the other investigators to exit the room when she was confronted with her lies, and the investigator should of then began getting into her past to bring up her sadness and guilt. it may have taken 2 hours. I believe she would of confessed at some point. Past experience works 90% of the time. especially with first time violators. They still did good work!

Zanny is the drug Casey used to drug Caylee. She put her in the trunk, like I am sure she had many times while she was out partying. Caylee died while in the trunk, her body started to stink up the car, Casey tried to dig a hole in her back yard and for some reason she couldn't dig the hole. So Casey tossed her body in the trees where she use to play as a child. Then she ditched the car because the smell of Caylee's decomposing body didn't go away.

Around 5:10, when they ask her about the phone call that CASEY says she received from CAYLEE the day before, they ask her what did CAYLEE say when she was on the phone. I think what amazes me the most in all of her interviews is that she never REALLY seems upset. I'm the mother of three, and let me tell you...if any of MY children were MISSING...I would be flipping the fuck OUT. I would be in a state of panic. They really might have had a shot, had they have focussed on her pain and been understanding of the lack of feelings she had for her daughter. Their line of questionning could have focussed on how much of a burden a child is and how much she suffered because of that child and so on. exactly...although at almost 3, i'm pretty certain she could talk fairly well..
..but-----and even casey has stated that she had never gone "more than a day" without seeing caylee-----the grandparents had also never not seen her for more than a day or 2 in a row at most--
it's a given, that any child would be crying "mommy mommy, where are you ???" "i wanna go hoooooooommmmme"!.
THAT would be the focus of a 3 year old---NEVER the books and shoes...

So when Casey says they have video of Caylee reading that book was the only footage of Caylee reading that book from the day before her last day visiting her great-grandfather on Father's Day?

I doubt it more than she could in that video on the day before her last day the 15th reading that book saying "mamma pappa" and you could only make out very few words beside baby talk (so cute she knew the story you could tell).

Yeah it would have been interesting if they asked her why she dropped off Caylee saying she was going to work when she got caught in the lie that she didn't work, so they could have asked her so why would you have dropped her off if you weren't going to work like you said. Not that it wouldn't have been another lie. They also could have had a female investigator too. Or Cindy in the room for a portion of their talking to her too and discuss all the lies.

@erlada I agree, but since they know whatever comes out of her mouth is another lie, and they have plenty of those on record, they are letting her know the jig is up. They are saying don't waste our effin time with your bs, we know your tricks!

What cracks me up is that she's so self-righteous. They just caught her a mountain of lies and when she starts telling more, they call her out on it. Then she actually sounds surprised and offended that they don't believe her.

These guys are brilliant! First, they knew she was lying and set this trap for her, then they play bad cop to try to get her to snap, then, they go back to being nice cop again, and let her talk and talk again, LOL this is classic!

She say's "there's no office, no desk, no anything." so there must NOT be a cell phone that only holds a charge for 30 minutes and is not practical for her?
I wonder if the defense is going to use that lie about the missing cell phone and allll of the important cell numbers in it like Zanny's and Zannys mother, Jeff and Juliette. The only people she told about caylee being kidnapped. I cannot wait for this trial!

A 34 month old toddler is ripped from the only home she's ever known, and almost 5 weeks later she's put on the phone to her mother......"Hi Mommy"....she talked about the book and her shoes, she wasnt the least bit upset. Obviously the cops knew no such call happened but I'm wishing they'd waited another day or so before arresting her, got one more session of questions on tape. What other ridiculous lies would she have come up with....even more damning testimony out of her own stupid mouth.

That bullshit story of how she talked to Caylee on the phone, now that we know Caylee was dead at this point, how is the defence going to explain this? I'm sure this interview will come in as evidence. I just can't see a person knowing that Caylee is dead at this point, then hearing Casey tell this phone story, and not enter a guilty vertict. Casey is cold, emotionless,
and going to stick to her bullshit story no matter what without remorse. I hope she rotts in prison.
