  • Wow this would have been so much better without all the fancy attempts at "production".

  • Watch the lecture by Nassim Haramein who argues that the search for the fundamental particle is a fruitless search, when you consider his research. He says we should realize that the universe is an infinite fractal, so if we search for a fundamental PATTERN instead, we can have a Unified theory. Check out his lecture here:

    alienmates(dot) byethost14(dot) com/eventhorizon(dot) html

and here for his official site and scientific papers that have been published:

    theresonanceproject(dot) org

  • @ancientwisdom2012 I should say instead of a "fruitless search" in general, an endless search if the infinite fractal theory is correct. Yet particle physics would be a fruitless search in the sense of finding a Unified theory of Everything. In terms of missing mass, Einstein's field equations cancel out rotation by attaching the observer to the rotating object. This may be a huge oversight that will account for the missing mass. The "64 double tetrahedron" is the proposed fundamental pattern

  • This video is highly informative for lay people (like me!) but parts of it are so lame!!! Why try to make the LHC "cooler" with a cute young woman and "cool" music??? They're trying to find out why the universe is the way it is; they're unraveling the deepest mysteries of existence. It is already the COOLEST THING EVER!!!

  • want to working at LHC

  • I'm a little frustrated so you will have to pardon my tone. But embrace what is happening at CERN,because, it is the human race...you know. There are too many people involved to not say this.

  • Don't ya get it? Everything is God, so, how can there be a single God particle or gene? It's not seperate...God is not seperate. These experiments are still in the physical world. The last of the little Russian dolls will never be reached, because, the next question is the why.

  • Here's a God Particle code in the Bible: 2 King's 18:18, Sennacherib = Dust, Hezekiah = Returns; all about Neutrinos, i.e; Soul's, help prisoner by the Van Allen and Earth's magnetic Lay Line Grid, and CERN hasn't got the brain's to read right hemisphere Syn(Sine)aesthesis code's to get a God Particle of their own, they send children to Sunday School, then drug them to get their intelligence information, because children have pure Soul's, CERN dosn't!

  • You're referring from a book of fairy tales written thousands of years ago? How's that working out for you?

  • @ManuelHung, the code's are reverse psychlogy like many think, itthe mirror of the soul is where no man can take a photograph and call it you're Doppelganger, it's too small and too fast for CERN to catch a neutrino on the Lay Line's, and if you know anything about the Van Allen, then you should know how Dust return's to magnetic Earth!

  • Now you're just talking gibberish...

  • Ok, whatever you say, but don't blame me if you're left all alone in the darkness of space when you're dead and can't find a lamp!

  • Ah.. that's your fear, huh? Being all sad and alone in the "afterlife". Why waste your time now worrying about something that is just a made up concept?

  • @ManuelHung, hahah, I got a very Bright lamp for me on the other side, been there and back many time's, lol. It's you that's not got a lamp, and you'll be left in the dark, like you are now. I know when you die, you're not going to make the passover!

  • Neither are you... you'll decompose and be forgotten.

  • @ManuelHung, hahaha, my name's John Baptista 2nd, what's you're name?

  • Talking about Climate Change, blame CERN for building their Hedron Collider in the Earth's Lay Line Grid... talk about Nazi Schizto's desperate for a Scapegoat!

  • terrible special effects . terrible

  • oh well....

humans trying to winzip back time

    compress it back together

  • The more I study the more I know

The more I know the more ideas I have

The more ideas I have the more they abstract

The more they abstract the less I know the truth

  • I'd hit dat...

  • its the year 2009, so, did they find something yet?

  • The LHC was damaged due to technical faults in some of the magnets (that came from the american Fermilab btw) and so the experiement was delayed by one year.

The repairs are almost complete and first collisions are to be started this October now.

It is estimated that the LHC collision experiments and the evaluation of the giant amounts of data will take up to three years before definite scientific conclusions regarding the Higgs boson can be drawn.

  • This is probably the most interesting thing I've ever watched!

  • I find it sad that they have to make one billion effects just so that people might actually watch it.

It's like having to remix an awesome song that musiklovers like over and over again until the general mass like it, and then it's not true to its source.

I remember my school years, and all the way from 1st grade to 12th grade whenever I said "proton" or "electron" my classmates would freak. It's not until now that I meet people who love science as much as I do

  • Anyone know the name of the song that plays at 9:45?

  • How does an apparatus, 3-D for that matter, gather data projected along the 4th, 5th, 6th...... dimension again? Unless one builds a detector with the same highest degree of freedom, one CANNOT collect sufficient properties/data to prove the locality or the origin of all things wont you say? Just a humble suggestion!

  • heheh :))

  • so an engine of sorts created the universe. supersymmetrical vw beetle. and The 3 main bearing boxer is god.

  • Everything the EU does has to be questioned.

  • Everything a power does has to be questioned, that's how we get our understanding of the world and that's how science evolved. Question your governments, and it will with its people evolve also on mutual grounds

  • As an underground shelter in case of a world catastrphe I reckon its the perfect design...Just another thought.

BTW. Independent Scientists refute wholeheartedly the big bang theory as nonsense!

  • So, what does he propose in opposition? Or merely, what does he gives as evidence against the Big Bang?

  • Big Bang is the best theory we've got, but the scientists have found alot of holes and evidence that doesn't support the big bang theory, not completely. They see it more like a half-truth. Another model they've designed is that our universe resides on a plane on the 5th dimension, and a mirrored counterself exist on another connected by a kind of spring. When these planes collide everything in both planes are oblitterated. This model fills alot of the gaps the standard model leaves unexplained.

  • Don't mean to piss on your parade, but I asked what evidence contradicts the present theory of the Big Bang. You've asserted there was holes and contradictory evidence, yet have presented none. I know you're most likely not a "real-world denialist" like our good friend stopjunkscience, but could you provide a source for your objections?

  • Could you explain to me please what a 'real world denialist' might be. You could be right as I'm having a problem with the concept....

  • "Could you explain to me please what a 'real world denialist' might be. You could be right as I'm having a problem with the concept...."

I think it was when I read this:

"BTW. Independent Scientists refute wholeheartedly the big bang theory as nonsense!"

Source please, or I call bullshit.

  • watch out!! its the INTERNET DEBATOR!! get a life srsly.

  • You're pathetic.

  • watch out!! the INTERNET INSULTER IS HERE!! wooah.

  • Lol, no credible scientist dismisses the big bang theory...inf fact, they all accept it as fact! Just because you dont have the brain capacity to understand something doesnt mean the big bang didnt happen, or the world is flat.

  • She made particle physicx sexy! If every teacher was like this we would all be a lot smarter!

  • Hey the action needs to be on the desk...not under it!

  • All this is a video of Hoax Hype...

  • It has to be weapons development! In an era of Facism... it couldnt be anything else!

  • I think that the people behind the project, such as the scientists have nothing but good intentions and do seriously just want to explain the mysteries of the universe. BUT, I do think that it will end up having something to do with weapons development when the work the scientists are doing is finished, maybe not weapon development specifically but it will end up being used for the wrong reasons.

  • So what makes you think that in an era when a Facist New World Order is trying for total control and ALL official media is actually MISINFORMATION where governments are trying to keep the lid on human ignorance...they suddenly want to spend the largest ammount ever... on a theory that may have no immediate practical use or outcome!

  • Since when has any government ever before spent so much money on something that wasnt weapons development?

    answer...

    NEVER NEVER NEVER

  • (1) The LHC is probably about the quest that has been going on for the last 60 years for the ability to make a Disintegrator Ray Gun (Remember the early Sci-Fi films?...all the illuminatis desires can be seen in Hollywood movies, its how they transmit information and indoctrinate; their own brethren too. The James Bond films are about World Domination, making us believe subconsciously that a 007 figure will always be there to save us NOT TRUE!).

  • (2) The H B theory is prob. more about the force that holds matter together, remove that force and disintegration occurs, simple eh? The Big Bang theory is one huge hoax concocted by The Tavistock Institute (London England) Eggheads and the Vatican (ie. a Godlike entity made the Big Bang occur) to support their religious fairy-tale and to justify the expense. History proves that vast amounts of money are only ever spent on weapons technology, Wake-up folks and learn to duck!

  • there needs to be a reevaluation of the music chosen for this video

  • I know they will give excuses when what they are looking for didn't materialize at last.

  • I'd nail that CERN girl.

  • Antimatter can be used to power our cities =D

  • yeaaa antimater can be used to doom us all ...

P.S. create an dimensional hole .... lets meet the aliens xD

  • Anti-matters of various types have be discovered before. So, it's not the first time. I don't admire Europeans, anyway. I wish it's being done in the U.S.A.

  • oh come on do we really need to destroy our planet because fo some silly reaserch into anti-matter cant we just live like we are and just accept things and not like do stuff like that whats the point of it i bet in a couple hundred if they fint anti matter theyll use it as a weapon watch!

  • This will not destroy the planet (stupid!)

Antimatter is not new, in fact it is used thousands of times a day in medical PET scanners (POSITRON Emission Tomography) .. they INJECT you with a compound which EMITS ANTIMATTER INSIDE YOUR BODY! Too much star trek or crack for you.

The computer your typing your mindless comment on is the result of these kinds of research undertakings. If you dont like it, throw away all of your possessions and go live in the forest with all the animals

  • will do lol im pretty shure it will blow up the world tho.. lol

  • Great video! ☆☆☆☆☆ ♥

  • You will only ever reach 99.9 percent light speed in the LHC...therego, it is a useless experiment...It's a fucking oscilloscope you could have bought for 40 dollars in Chinatown...Do you believe in GOD? You really f'n should..

  • You f'n f'n homos. "We're just experimenting!" That's what they said about the Nuclear Bomb I'm sure...PURE EVIL! Will you break light speed with something with mass in there? No.

  • They weren't just 'experimenting' with nuclear fission, nor did any scientist, or military official EVER say that.

They were intentionally trying to create a weapon which utilizes the energy of nuclear fission before a country like Japan did it first.

It was called the Manhatten Project, and had nothing to do with experimenting, and everything to do with creating a weapon.

Most 'experiments' came AFTER the war, and were responsible for nuclear fission reactors for energy.

  • Nuclear energy was a discovery the scientists intended to use for improvement of our civilizations. The scientists who worked on Nuclear Energy and seen their work go into tools of war were covered in shame. as mdma4life said, the nuclear bomb was not an experiment.

  • Fallen angels, Gaymen and myself are here to exact vengance on evil doers of the world...Now, just except the fact that your LUCIFERIAN agenda is up. Time is an ocean but it ends at the shore...or would you rather open up endless dimensions of space and time...you have built an oscilloscope of a huge magnitude..

  • CERN is the aboslute height of pure evil.

  • she is sooooo fucking annoying..bint!!!

  • omg i want to skateboard at 8:18

  • 17 minutes?Hows that possible?

  • the girl is ugly, i won't do her

  • And the greatest part of the video is that they used Incubus - Nice To Know You as background music !!! ;-)

  • the hadron collider is a hunk of shit i would sign a my name to have it dismantled in a heart beat mankind can wait another hundred thousand years to try this silly experiment but for now lets drink and have sex if somthing goes wrong we all pay the price and i want to start a family not get sucked into a black hole and thats not a sex joke im deadly serious

get rid of the thing before tom hanks kills us all in september where do i sign the pertition

  • ignorant fool

  • fuck you its my own opinion i thought that this was a free world

so ok im talking jiberish maybe we dont have to worry

the only thing we should though is that bloody fusion reactor that we are trying to build

  • Firstly, you seem to think that nothing useful has come out of this experiment. You are probably unaware that one of the new technologies developed to detect particles breaking apart is Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This has now been adapted for use in hospitals as MRI scanners and helps doctors save lives.

  • Secondly, you seem to beleive that this facility is dangerous, and clearly beleive the myth spread by those wishing to stunt scientific progress that this will in some way generate a black whole. This is missreading of the objectives. They re not trying to recreate the big bang, but the *conditions* that were around just after it. Very different definitions. We are in no danger if something goes wrong.

  • Thirdly, knowlege gained by futhering our understanding of quantum physics will directly effect our progress in the development of fusion power. Brian Cox (a leading scientist on Atlas at CERN) made a very good documenty called 'Can we make a star on Earth?' on the subject.

  • Loool, that mean's they're trying to recreate Mars' atmosphere, loool!.

Why can't they condense themselve's and use the lay Line grid like Mohammed the Prophet did, because it cost's the econemy billion's of doller's for beating around the bush these day's!.

  • Your an idiot :D

  • It's 1000 Mio it gives a better idea to those who can't visually render a Billion.

Perceptively 1000Mio is easier to digest by most people since they are more common units of monetary measure than a Billion in the regular persons everyday vocabulary, and since this is an educational video it's more than obvious why it would be considered the better alternative.

It's easier for someone who doesn't know what a billion is to understand the quantity under discussion.

  • Did anyone notice at about 04.35 into the video she said, the universe was created about "some thirteen point seven thousand million years ago".

Should this not be, BILLIONS of years; so we're told? She is suppose to be a so called expert.

Was this a slip-up on her part, or can we rely on anything she says.

  • In English 1000 million is equal to a billion. Therefore, 13.7 thousend million is equal 13.7 billion.

    She is reliable.

  • SHIV YOG EXPLAINS ALL ONLY THING THAT IT IS IN HINDI AND NOW YOU PEOPLE ARE CONVERTING IT INTO HINDI ,IN THE SENSE DIMENSIONS,AND THE STRINGS THEORY, PARTICLES BEYOND THE ATOM DO EXIST AND BEYOND THEM FURTEHR MORE PARTICLES EXIST WE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO , so dont wory no black wholes will be created ,we dont have the technology and know how to do that yet ,its not that simple to create a blackwhole, all that we will get is some silly light shows ,scientists should take it as a learining experie

  • She dident eat onion

  • 9:46 purple onion snack..yummy

  • i thought there was nothing smaller than an atom?

  • protons, neutrons and electrons... furthermore quarks too and that's how far we get for now

  • we don't know what is the smallest thing. we don't know how the brain works. we don't know how the universe was created or if it was always here. we don't know how matter and energy exist or what they are. we know nothing really. So we must try to find out and ignore those who seem to prefer NOT TO KNOW.

  • Erm yes we do, they are called super strings.

  • what do you think the atom is made of? Super Strings :)

  • We already said. Atom is made out for protons, neutrons and electrons. Further more each(each?) of this is made (perhaps) of quarks.

  • don't forget the glueones

  • very interesting

  • 11:37 oooooh lol

  • laat ons leven

  • DON'T USE WINDOWS MOVIEMAKER!!!!

  • where the hell did that comment come from? rofl

  • thye better find a better way how to explan everything first incejt something from there brain to mine i will know everything thx .

  • She is cute. *g*

  • this is interesting.....i dont mind if it leads to a big bang....better learn something than nothing

  • veeeeery interesting, silly buggers.

  • As usual, the newest and most intimidating technology frightens some humans and split us into 2 camps. Those against and those for it.

The universe takes risks to understand, so did Columbus's trip to America, so did Marco Polo's travel to Asia, so did Magellan when he sailed around the world. Get with the trend, dont be backtracking when we humans need to go forward, forever.

  • Columbus is a horrible example.. Columbus was a drunken fool.

  • This is messed up, what if it goes wrong ?

  • When we understand all of it, we'll be amazing!!

  • wow, people are killing themselves^^and they say human is that smartest thing in the world:))))hah...THEY ARE KILLING US!!!!!

  • Again not making a black hole. Trying to observe similiar sonditions to the big bang and observe the higgs boson

  • to be honest cern is doing the wrong thing with trying to invent a black whole. in my opinion they are just trying to kill us all and in my opinion whoever or wichever people/person discovered this should be torchered till near death then hanged plus have his head chopped off afterward and then he should be quatered and burned then his bones taken into space to be lost in history. this aint a joke its what i feel what cern is doing. they are trying to murder us all and its bad and shudnt be alwd

  • wow - you really have no clue of what is being attempted, not of the english language. and here i was wondering where the paranoia came from.

Please earn a darwin award - for all our sake

  • These stuoid people have a 1.7% chance of destroying the world! It is posibale that it will be the end of the world! 1.7% chance is enough! I do not aprove with what they are doing!

  • Sigh.. it's actually a 1 in 50million chance of serious reactions... which if you think about it, is around 0.000000000005% chance of happening - at least.

  • I dig cyclist chicks and particles

  • I don't disagree with what CERN is doing, I just don't think they have done enough research on the possible side effects or possible consequences.

  • thanks for this informative excellent video

  • she's hot!

  • yeah. i would definitely tap that.

  • Fake

  • Funny how you think QM is so stupid it is able to explain chemical bonding, wave and particle characteristics of light and plays a significant role in laser, mri, computational chemistry and trasistors. Dont use any of them, they need a "false theory" to run.

  • QM does NOT explain chemical bonding. QM has two models for the atom: Bohr's planetary model, which it still uses to explain ionization and electrical current, and the balloon model, which it uses to explain chemical bonding and hybridization. So please draw for me the H atom. After 80 years of QM, this should be a piece of cake. We have 1 electron and 1 proton. Please draw them. Of course, if as you say, the electron is 0D, we have nothing around the proton.

  • The bohr model is a ROUGH view of the overall structure. The QM model is the detailed view. The QM model can explain ionization, as it uses energy states just like Bohr's model. The QM model is not different from the Bohr model, it is just a more detailed one and fills in the gaps in the Bohr model. I already said the electron is a fundamental object, which cannot be broken further. It isnt 0D. It is a further unbreakable dot who's exact position at any time is unknown.

  • If the electron is not 0D, it is an object (i.e. it has shape). We have two shapes: the proton and the electron. Please draw for me the H atom! How will you distribute these two shapes in a SINGLE image? I don't want a movie of the electron everywhere. I want a still image.

  • It is IMPOSSIBLE to draw a single image COZ I cannot say where an electron will be at any point of time. The best solution to this is to take an existing movie, take a still from it, and we can say, at this point, that is where the electron MIGHT be. That is the problem here. The exact path and position of the electron is unpredictable and is subject to high levels of error.

  • I haven't asked you to tell me WHERE an electron is. I don't understand why you keep answering a question I haven't asked. Please don't tell me about the location or position of an electron again. I am not interested. I want to know WHAT an H atom looks like; not WHERE the electron is located or how to find it. If a proton is here, the electron can be anywhere in the Universe for all I care. If these are the only two objects in the U, you have one ball to the side of another. Correct?

  • I keep saying it coz you insist on having me "draw" the structure. The problem is to draw the atom, I need to know the location of the electron relative to the nucleus, which I cant tell. That is why I come to this point.

  • No you don't, ish. This is a conceptual issue; not one of measurement or knowledge or experiment. You ask any child in kindergarten to draw two particles and he will draw two circles next to each other. Once again, if ONE H atom were the only object in the U, and an H atom is comprised of ONE proton and ONE electron, it doesn't matter WHERE the electron is. You will have one ball to the side of another.

  • If you ask me to draw the solar system, and I dont know the relative positions of the earth to the sun, my picture cannot be drawn accurately. It will be incomplete. You are drawing a system here, with 2 parts whose relative position is unknown. The child in your example is assuming that 1 circle is next to another. In the model of the atom, such an assumption cannot be made, as the location of the electron is unknown.

  • If the H atom is the ONLY entity in the U, you have one proton ball next to an electron ball. Place the electron ball wherever you want. It will be to the side of the proton ball.

  • 400 students. good

  • It was found that electrons cant be fully explained by treating them as particles alone, which is where QM came in and used wave-particle duality to refine and complete Bohr's model. Electrons dont orbit the nucleus like planets, they exist as standing waves. Their positions are never known per se, it can only be predicted(uncertainty principle) within a certain area(that area is called an orbital btw). The energy states of electrons are discrete numbers, similar to the energy of standing waves

  • Wave-particle is an attempt to elude the scientific method. Since the mathematician cannot explain it with particles he invokes the wave, and since he cannot explain it with the wave, he invokes particles. The electron cannot simultaneously be an extended wave and a discrete particle. If you believe otherwise, pease draw your wave-particle.

  • Something CAN be both a wave and a particle. ALL particles have a wave and particle nature. However, coz of the differences in size, scale and speeds of small fundamental particles, the wave nature and unpredictability in position that arises due to this nature is best observed in fundamental particles. The Heisenberg equation clearly gives a formula to calculate the uncertainty in position and velocity for any given object of any mass.

  • Please draw it! Then we'll both know if something can BE both a wave AND a particle.

  • Any object has both wave AND particle characteristics. In essence, an object is a wave-particle. The 2 natures can exist together and are not mutually exclusive. That is why all objects can display interference, diffraction and other wave properties along with particle properties.

  • Please define the word OBJECT. Apparently, you don't even know what an object is.

  • By object I meant any form of matter. Of course wave particle duality extends to even all forms of energy.

  • 1. You are using unscientific language. You say that an object is matter. So what is matter? The totality of objects?

    2. All forms of energy? Please draw 'an' energy for me. I have never seen one of these critters.

  • I meant object in the linguistic sense of the word, not the scientific sense. Object in language means any thing/entity/being. Any mass has an associated energy and vice versa. So, this shows that 'an' energy can be converted into a particle and hence it has particle like behaviour. Hence at fundamental levels, even an energy is a particle. You can draw the "shape" of an energy by converting it into a mass.

  • 1. So let's transcribe your 1st definition:

object = thing/entity/being (circular def!) This is a synonym; not a def.

    Here's your second one:

    object = mass

A cube is an object. It has a single property: shape. That's what an object is 'that which has shape'.

So...What is the shape of mass? Is mass the same thing as cube?

  • A cube is an object. All cubes have shapes. Doesnt mean necessarily that all objects have shapes.

  • Name one object that does not have shape.

  • What would the shape be of a single point?

  • A single point has form. I don't care what shape it is. It can be cubic, spherical or cylindrical, but it had better be more than zip if it is discrete. The ONLY property an object has is shape.

    object: that which has shape

This is the scientific definition of the strategic word object. It is scientific because we can now use it consistently.

  • Exactly! I am using the LINGUISTIC definition of object, you are using the scientific one. There is no condition of having to have shape in the linguistic definition of the word "object".

  • I thought we were talking science. I thought that when you said that an electron is a particle which is an object you were talking about Physics. So you WERE talking about religion all along. Is this what Quantum is? A religion? Is this what an electron is? Just a subject we can talk about? Or is an electron a shape that leaves an atom to transform it into an ion?

  • No I wasnt talking about religion. QM is a part of physics. An electron is an entity which has both wave and particle nature. An electron can be with sufficient energy given, made to overcome the force binding it to the nucleus so that the atom becomes an ion. That energy is called ionization energy

  • An electron is an entity? What is an entity? You are not defining the crucial word:

    object=entity=thing

Before you can claim that an electron is a thing you have to define the word thing. In Science and in Physics, a thing is that which has shape. If it doesn't have shape, it doesn't belong in Physics. Therefore, words such as energy, mass, force, and time are NOT things. They do not have shape.

So now... What is the shape of an electron? Is it a bead or a balloon?

  • An electron is a point. It is a point who's exact position at any time cannot be told. Its exact path is also impossible to tell. An orbital is the AREA around a nucleus in which the electron is expected to be found. The orbital is also a mathematical function derived after solving the Schrodinger equation. This allows us to determine the shape of the orbital, or the shape of the area in which the electron can be found.

  • The only thing we are concerned about right now is WHAT an electron IS. You say that it is a point. Does a point have extension, shape, form? Is an electron an object or not?

  • An electron is currently defined as a fundamental particle, has no known substructure, and is a point charge. Does a point have any shape? No. It is simply a point. Any shape is formed when it has at least 2 points.

  • What is a point if it has no length, width, or height? Are you saying that an electron is nothing? Is this what a particle is? Nothing? Please draw a point. I'll bet you 2 beers that whatever you draw has widht and height. There is no shape in the Universe which is dimensionless. You are trying to get away with an irrational hypothesis. What you're doing is not Science.

  • I suggest you look up coordinate geometry and draw a point. It will not have a width, height etc. These are only possible to measure b/w 2 points. Width is the difference in the x coordinates of 2 points. Here we only have 1 point. A single point cannot have width, height etc. And it is not an irrational hypothesis, it is well accepted all over the world. Funny how you seem to know what science is over all the scientists in the world who use this definition of an electron.

  • Here's a point, ish: .

Check it under your microscope. You'll see that it has width and height.

If all the 'scientists' in the world say that the Earth is flat, I will challenge them too.

  • Ok here's a better way to visualize this. Every object can be said to be made up of points. Say you have a cube, it is made of 8 points. Each point would be like an electron. It is very hard to visualize it, coz we live in a 3D world(same as we cannot visualize 4D or 5D shapes), but it can exist. Another example: in 3D animation, when we draw characters, we use points(or vertices) to create them. Each vertex is capable of existing on its own and it has just 1 set of x,y,z coordinates.

  • For the purposes of Science, an object is not made of anything. In Science, we point to an object and utter a sound: chair. For the rest of the presentation, the ET identifies the sound with the object. What an object is made of comes later when we make comparisons and use the object in a sentence: 'The carpenter made the CHAIR of wood and metal.' In Science, we don't explain an object. In science, we define the word object as 'that which has shape.' Anything which has shape is now an object.

  • You just need to point to a still image of an H atom and tell me whether the electron is a bead that stands next to the proton or whether the electron is a balloon that encapsulates the proton. It can't be both. By making your electron a bead, a wave, and a cloud, you have covered all the bases and made your theory unfalisfiable.

  • An electron as I explained before is a point. The exact position at any point cannot be predicted, we can only say it is inside a certain area(that area is called an orbital). So the concept of "taking a still image and pointing out the electron" doesnt even come into question. An electron displays wave AND particle characteristics, as does all matter. An electron is not a cloud, the REGION where an electron can be found(or the atomic orbital) is called a cloud.

  • You are saying that an electron is a point. STOP. Let's deal with this BEFORE you move or do anything with it. You want to move on when you have no finished describing and illustrating WHAT you will be talking about. When you say that an electron is a point, you are asking me to visualize a dot on the horizon. Does this dot stand next to a proton? How many locations can the single electron dot have around a proton at any time?

  • This dot's exact position is indeterminable, due to its high velocity. That is what the Heisenberg principle gives us as a conclusion. Obviously the electron will be at some indetermined point in that atomic orbital around the nucleus.
