  • Great fish there is most likely bigger fish in that lake because of the amount of bait throw in in the matches. tight lines :)

  • lol my dad use to put my fish back for me, 1 day i had been tench fishing and must have had a good 40lb in tench an bream in the keepnet so dad said il pull it out as it was a steep bank cos you will fall in, well you geuss what happened next, yip up to his chest in water lol he didnt find it funny though lol

  • Love it!! Eventually he finds a nice quite spot under the tree's 1:59 BOSH!!! Not any more!

  • does adam get freaked out by fish flippin? they freak me out too.

  • Adam. Can I suggest you drill a pineapple chunk for the hair rig.

  • HI Matt - theres no need to hair rig them. Korda now make square bait bands for this kind of thing - I'm suprised you haven't tried them for your wine gums etc. ;p)

  • Hi Olly - Jasper likes a swim too, but he knows better than to try it when I'm fishing....re the lack of uploads - it's a long story, but a lot of my fishing this year I've done on my own, because of Paul's circumstances, and it's been difficult to do any videoing. We'll be back soon, I'm sure. Tight Lines.

  • nice dog mate I've got a black Labrador also although no way would I take her fishing with me cos she would go for a swim LOL

Great bid btw how come u haven't uploaded any recently?

  • have u heard of a lake called maythorn

  • Sure, not far from us, but never fished there. How about you?

  • im gonna fish it in 2 weeks

  • Very nice video. Lovely fish and your dog had my cat's ears twitching the whole time, good stuff.

  • HI There! Thanks for the positive comments you've left on the vids and on my channel -I appreciate it. I recommend people check out your channel. Please keep your eye on our website (the link is on my channel). We are considering a collaborative book project, and we'd love to include anglers from all over the world. As we say in the UK - Tight Lines

  • wat was tht led at begining?

  • wow russ, nice common! also, can you hair rig a peice of bubble gum on its own, or must it be moulded?

  • Good Luck - I went to our local lake this morning and it was frozen over....roll on spring! Look forward to seeing your blog.

  • i live in retford nottinghamshire so could u tell me where tht lake is please i would love 2 fish it looks good

  • Love the bubblegum method I'm gonna use it on Sunday, if it works i'll give you a 'name check' in our video! great vid.

  • Very many thanks for that comment, tbh for me the memories the experiences and meeting the challenges are more important than the fish, and It's great to hear from a fellow angler who feels the same. respect and regards to you.

  • fantastic to see you fishing with your lad, reminds me of my dad taking me when i was a kid in the70's.We loved being together he made some marvellous memories for me,thats what your lad will have hats off to you both, enjoy each other as much as you can.brilliant great fish too

  • Wow Whey to go dude - how old are you!

Shame there isn't an Olympic Gold for the fish caught in the fastest time! You'd have won hands down! Well done mate - I'm off to buy some Hubba Bubba!

  • I don't know if that's the case. Yes. I caught 6 that day. On conservated corn. It's a small water close to my house in a small town called Tidaholm. That's about 18 sweadish miles from Gothenburg. (180 km). And 3,5 swedish miles from Skövde if you know were that is. All fish I caught were about four pounds. It would be fun if you tried it. It's a privat water but I have permission. and it's not big... Do you fish trout? I caught one the other day on 2,1 kg. And if you wonder my name is Johan...

  • Hi, Russ. I'm a carp angler from Sweden. i tried strawberry gum. But they didn't seem to be interessted. What am I doing wrong? And it would be very nice if you tried our Swedish carp waters! Nice fish.

  • Hi Korven, I agree,it would be very nice to try your carp waters.Sorry the gum didn't catch you fish-were any other baits working that day or were they off the feed altogether? I usually fish the gum with a PVA bag of pellets, that's always worth a try,but of course not all baits are equally successful on all waters. For example on most UK Carp waters the fish are used to fruity baits (boilies in strawberry, banana, pineapple, etc) and have been 'educated' to accept them,is that the case in Sweden?

  • nice one Russ and Adam, nice fish, looks like you got a young one hot on your heels mate.

  • strawberry is a good flavour although i mostly use esterberry which caught me 7 carp to 14lb carp today

  • Thanks for the kind words on the vids mate, and congrats on that catch! What make is the esterberry gum, I gotta try that.

  • man i love ur vids they r so professional the lake u fish is pretty nice too
