  • You'd be surprised just how dumb people are.

  • i used to watch this show caught the lasat two seasons , funny shit , plus the ratartur fluiied acts as a seasoning

  • This guy is.funny!

  • This is mostly for the people who keep their car so clean you can eat off of it.

  • Good day

Very funny, & in a way true!

In the 1920's a man made an "oven" in his truck using a modified muffler.

He used the hot exhaust passing over a sealed box, & a "shelf" built on the exhaust manifold..(there was MUCH more free space around engines back then) covered potatoes could roast.

Drives were long back then, & restaurants were few!

I read that article when I was a boy.

  • if the ladies dont find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy lol

  • i have almost the same car

  • That's the funnyest think I have ever seen..

  • I gotta try this! Lol!

  • lollll

  • duct tape solves everything xD

  • I saw them film two episodes in person 1998 and the last year. Always good memories!!

  • mmmm

  • comedy legend

  • put the turkey in a pan and thuroghly clean all the engine parts used in cooking. and it might work.

  • @cooldaddyjames2814, better yet triple wrap the turkey and everything else in foil to keep out the dirt. That's a real tip from a 1989 cookbook called "Manifold Destiny".

  • Okay I think those two people who have disliked this video have tried this at home

  • I love this show so much

  • this guy is fucking funny

  • I'd like to try this

  • Makes fixin a meal and driving a useful thing. Parts of this car kitchen tale have been practiced in the past. Before "fast food".

  • love this! I'd would definitely do it if it worked! Of course with the price of gas right now (3.229/gallon) it might be cheaper to cater it.....

  • - priceless !

  • I remember watching this episode one year on the comedy network or was it on the cbc I can't remember what station it was lol anyways I would try this but I know it wont work this a classic red green handymans corner lol

  • @philipstephenbird His comedy show is touring the US and Canada now. See him in person.

  • Canadian "Griswold" Christmas Dinner...

  • Hilarious! One of my faves for sure:)

  • This was funny!

    Creative bunch

  • The only thing that bugged me about Red Green was the paranoid CBC's use of canned laughter over things... It just didn't need it at all... it was great on its own.

  • Thank you man for uploading this

I have this episode and I was trying to upload it, but I was having a lot of problems with the format.

    You saved me valuable time.

  • The rock salt increases the flavor!

  • Awesome! Go Red!

  • I can't believe someone 'disliked' this video. Probably they actually tried this.

  • Why didn't I think of this?

  • Leave it to Canadians to come up with a better vehicle for Thanksgiving and christmas dinners!

  • a classic

  • MMmm...YUMMY!! Especially the rock salt in the potatoes...now I know how I'm gonna cook dinner this year!

  • lol

  • lmao classic.

  • Happy Holidays Red and the whole crew!
