Hear what God of Israel YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH (Son and Father are ONE) saying to our generation by His chosen prophets: Trumpetcallofgodonline. com ; Letter called "Purify Your Faith, and Come to the Father as It is Written": EXCERPT: "Only in the Bible and through these very Letters, of which I have given to My prophet of the end of this age, shall you find Him and know Him."
@TrumpetCallofGodLT Hey trumpetcallofgod, i spoke to Yaweh and he said you were one of the biggest morons to ever walk the earth. he also said there is no god and you are a wild faggt. Next time i see an orthodox jew i'll spit in his face and blame it on you and you only,. kikboy!
This song (and much of this CD) is ridiculously NOT what most late 1980's alternative bands were doing at the time. I just heard this song for the first time in about 20 years and its unbelievably relevant and still fresh sounding. The guitar work in this is deep and complex. Such a killer tune.
The song is REAL. I am living it. "it" happened recently. the song is prophetic. Our modern music is prophetic. The poets of today are the artists. Never forget that.
@91nickt ...epic journey indeed. For a time I ran about 6 miles a day, often listening to this on an old Walkman. I listened to Starfish on many of these jaunts and coupled with a runner's high, it sometimes seemed like I was on a Homeric journey. Sounds corny, but true....
brings me back too.bought this from a small record shop in toongabbie, wore the neddle out on the record player that day, couldn't stop listening to north south east and west
@maccas5171 toongabbie, sounds english to me. and is north south east and west a song on this album, cause i don't remember that one. i just remember under the milky way, and then my favorite one that i dedicated to my girlfriend donna zuniga, 'reptile".... : )
I love the CHURCH. My brother and I used to listen to them all the time, when we would take long rides and drinking beer. He's gone now. I miss him so much.
@JBW929 i remember driving, straight through, from Milwaukee to Boulder, on a very desperate, very personal midnight mission; nothing but 'Priest=Aura' the whole way...
@JBW929 - read your post and also did the same thing - must've rolled this thing a few 1000 times. Haven't heard it for 20 years perhaps then came across Destination just now - this could've been released last week for how far beyond its time it was. Your comment reminded me of mostly hearing this at night in the mysterious hours.
I grew up in my teens listening to the church back in the late 80's....funny though, the regular 'popular' crowd back then did not like this kind of music. This was not too popular in its own time in the states at least but I always loved this song as one of The Church finest. Yay Marty!
"Starfish" & "HeyDay" the best by a great, overrated band. I Compare this band to Nirvana, Syd, The Beatles, Todd Rundgren. I mean: The Church are good like Nirvana, Beatles and so on...
Oh my God. Thank you so much for posting one of my favorite songs ever. This song...well, this whole album is so incredibly beautiful. Thank you:) Thank you:) Thank you:)
WHY can't I find a guitar tab for this song?!?!?!

Atmospheric, ageless, beautiful yet raw and somehow dark
