  • What a great band. They did not get their just due!

  • Hear what God of Israel YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH (Son and Father are ONE) saying to our generation by His chosen prophets: Trumpetcallofgodonline. com ; Letter called "Purify Your Faith, and Come to the Father as It is Written": EXCERPT: "Only in the Bible and through these very Letters, of which I have given to My prophet of the end of this age, shall you find Him and know Him."

  • @TrumpetCallofGodLT Hey trumpetcallofgod, i spoke to Yaweh and he said you were one of the biggest morons to ever walk the earth. he also said there is no god and you are a wild faggt. Next time i see an orthodox jew i'll spit in his face and blame it on you and you only,. kikboy!

  • I was seraching for "dark songs".Why I'm here?

  • It's a timeless song!

  • @aarlevanbram That's because The Church are timeless... :)

  • This song (and much of this CD) is ridiculously NOT what most late 1980's alternative bands were doing at the time. I just heard this song for the first time in about 20 years and its unbelievably relevant and still fresh sounding. The guitar work in this is deep and complex. Such a killer tune.

  • i agree with all of you!!!!! smiths, church, u2, inxs, new order, echo....aaaahh

  • SO glad to have grown up in the 80's!!! Best time of my life and the best music!

  • one of the coolest bands of all time

  • distination.............666

  • what a cool song this f_ _ ker is.

  • im in a hot tube time machine

  • The song is REAL. I am living it. "it" happened recently. the song is prophetic. Our modern music is prophetic. The poets of today are the artists. Never forget that.

  • The sound of Endlessness...

  • It's time like these I wish I were born at a different time. </3

  • Whoever disliked this is a bitch.

  • dang, what has happened to music anywho? there were beauties like this in the eighties and now shit as far as the ear can hear!

  • i love how this whole album takes you on a beautiful, epic journey

  • @91nickt ...epic journey indeed. For a time I ran about 6 miles a day, often listening to this on an old Walkman. I listened to Starfish on many of these jaunts and coupled with a runner's high, it sometimes seemed like I was on a Homeric journey. Sounds corny, but true....

  • @rilohburgee92 haha. yeah, I've had that feeling before even without listening to music.

  • brings me back too.bought this from a small record shop in toongabbie, wore the neddle out on the record player that day, couldn't stop listening to north south east and west

  • @maccas5171 toongabbie, sounds english to me. and is north south east and west a song on this album, cause i don't remember that one. i just remember under the milky way, and then my favorite one that i dedicated to my girlfriend donna zuniga, 'reptile".... : )

  • my favourite song off the album.

  • Was one of a lotta big hits for the Church, got a lot of airplay. What happened to them ..are they touring?

  • Cool song. Might be my favorite. Til I hear another one.

  • Starfish album ..Yes! Destination

  • MaryHuana at it's best!!

  • Comment removed

  • My favorite album of 1988!

  • Speechless.

  • one of the most underrated bands of all time, or at least from the 80 S

  • I love the CHURCH. My brother and I used to listen to them all the time, when we would take long rides and drinking beer. He's gone now. I miss him so much.

  • In the space between our houses some bones have been discovered. Great line great song. Great album to listen to while while smoking pot.

  • @MrBuc128 lol while smoking pot.

  • I love this song.

  • @CheerfulDeadGuys I can't agree with you enough.

  • shimmer, disappear and return

  • I'm seeing them perform in Long Island, NY. I hope they play this songg

  • I remember driving dark, back roads at high speeds listening to this cassette. No other time will equal the eighties!!!!

  • @JBW929 yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss the cassettes:(

  • @JBW929 i remember driving, straight through, from Milwaukee to Boulder, on a very desperate, very personal midnight mission; nothing but 'Priest=Aura' the whole way...

    glorious.

  • @JBW929 - read your post and also did the same thing - must've rolled this thing a few 1000 times. Haven't heard it for 20 years perhaps then came across Destination just now - this could've been released last week for how far beyond its time it was. Your comment reminded me of mostly hearing this at night in the mysterious hours.

  • Thank you!

  • I grew up in my teens listening to the church back in the late 80's....funny though, the regular 'popular' crowd back then did not like this kind of music. This was not too popular in its own time in the states at least but I always loved this song as one of The Church finest. Yay Marty!

  • @y00n1x - I understand that...I was on the fringes in high school, too!

  • this album does not contain any bad song

  • @rakidip I agree :)

  • This song its timeless...doesnt sound that old at all!

  • @biodumb You are so correct. It takes me back to happier days, but it doesn't have a dated soung.

  • "Starfish" & "HeyDay" the best by a great, overrated band. I Compare this band to Nirvana, Syd, The Beatles, Todd Rundgren. I mean: The Church are good like Nirvana, Beatles and so on...

  • @SteveMultiRed I think you mean 'underrated' Steve.

  • incredible album by the Church--masterpiece for years and centuries to come...

  • fuck that, im going back. see you in 88.

  • So it's... BACK TO THE FUTURE!!!

  • @xxxIzekeIxxx

Wish i could do the same.

  • @xxxIzekeIxxx

You re a hot tube time machine man too?

  • @xxxIzekeIxxx right there with ya!

  • @xxxIzekeIxxx favorite youtube comment :)

  • The Church,1988...can't ever go back, no matter how much you sometimes want to. This song is bloody glory, man.

  • Não gostei!

  • @vbr222 Ya bitch.

  • @vbr222 E dai? Quem ta se fudendo se vc gostou ou nao? Porque vc nao vai a merda, seu putinho sem vergonha?

  • Such a chill song.

  • My favourite song *______*

  • really good song

  • This song is GREAT. It is bad for speeding in the car, thought. As it reaches it's crescendo, I have been known to hit 90MPH

  • 1988, what a song to set the moment. This band was intense. mlj

  • Fantastic Song!

  • i've always loved this song! thanks for posting! the lyrics are phenomenal

  • ummm....If you were expecting to see a video when you clicked on this...I'll point out that the title says "Audio Only"

  • I think Z was wondering if the video was floating around here somewhere. Don't let the corporate pricks have us turn on each other.

  • Good job. I love this song

  • Oh my God. Thank you so much for posting one of my favorite songs ever. This song...well, this whole album is so incredibly beautiful. Thank you:) Thank you:) Thank you:)

  • @emptybluecows best album ever and best memories.

  • Another poem from STEVE KILBEY, another masterwork of the classic line up: KOPPES, WILLSON-PIPER, PLOOG and of course KILBEY.

Atmospheric, ageless, beautiful yet raw and somehow dark
