@Zestas No there isn't. Unless you are using something like Chimay or another bottle conditioned ale there is absolutely no live yeast in typical off the shelf beer. It is all killed in the pasteurization process or in the case of things like Miller MGD filtered out.
The concept that there is yeast in a can of bud capable of fermenting is nothing but a myth. One more example of government requiring a process for "safety" that is simply unnecessary.
@brokenshackles101 Yes that is awful isn't it? I mean there is no way a temperature of 350 degrees for almost an hour would handle anything that could possibly do the bread is there? I hope you don't eat any food prepared in a factory! You know places where they have roach and maggot counts, if they are low enough no worries! If you eat anything packaged in a store it is far worse than licking a finger.
@survivalpodcasting Great job, I have to make it. BTW, any great chef tastes his food before it's served. Gordon Ramsey, Wolfgang Puck along with other world famous chefs do. I'm on the way to the store to get some baking powder.
In the HTST process, milk is forced between metal plates and is heated to 71.7 °C (161 °F) for 15–20 seconds. UHT processing holds the milk at a temperature of 135 °C (275 °F) for a fraction of a second.
I like how at 5:22 you licked your finger after dipping it into the bowl. And you used the same finger to spread the butter around. Then later you told us to wash our hands.
@1toptec - You know what yes it does, I have been following that same base recipe for years and never even thought about it, in the words of the great Homer, Doh!
Looks great. I thought I would just add that there is plenty of yeast in the beer. Thanks for the video.

@survivalpodcasting Thanks for the info. I didn't know they required pasteurization for beer. No wonder our beer is so bad!
