@KiSm15 there are two versions of "Good" endings; this one (Good+), where she survives, and another (referred to be just Good), where she doesn't. apparently, the Good ending, obtained if cybil is killed at the amusement park is the "orthodox" ending, because its linked to the 3rd game. so its likely that cybil is actually dead.

@skittykitty3 Except for Cybil, you can know what happened with them in Silent Hill 3. Cybil's fate is pretty much open for the player's interpretation as Owaku (writer of the main series) said in an interview.

@Daren2007 Haha, yeah, that's pretty much how Japanese games are. Never seen a Japanese game that had a story that made sense, at least not in a way that's engaging. They got low standards (you should see their TV dramas). But here it just contributes to the bizarre feel of the game. Mind you, I've never actually played this game (just watched this vid after seeing the movie and wanted to know what kind of sick mind came up with that).

@slyn4ice I guess its the cultural differences, different culture has different ways of expressing themselves, now that i recall, i guess a lot of Japanese game has weird storyline. Just this game in particular, did not make too much sense to me. But i disagree that Japanese standards are low, i actually think the Japanese has high standards, you see Japanese electronics, cars, TVs, Games all over the world. They have the fastest internet in the world, i think.

I was thinking of someone else entirely. I got Christabella from the movie and Claudia from the Silent Hill 3 game mixed up for some reason.

Claudia was not in the movie, but she's not Dahlia either. She was Alessa's best friend before Alessa was burned alive, and returned later in Silent Hill 3 to force Heather (Alessa's third incarnation) to give birth to God to rebuild a new Paradise (and, unlike, Dahlia, she wasn't lying- she's a much better person that Dahlia).

A disappointment overall. Watching this game and hearing the rave reviews, I expected more. Instead, the difficulty was far too easy, and was based on solving puzzles instead of trying to stay alive. And not scary or creepy save for a couple of moments.
