I struggle too, but here's what works for me;

A for 2 beats. E for 2 beats. F#m for beat and a half to A7 for the remaining beat an a half. D for 2 beats. Dm for 2 beats. A for 4 beats. Repeat.

F#m for 4 beats. D for 4 beats. G for 4 beats. A for 4 beats.

F#m for 4 beats. B7 4 beats. Dm for 4 beats. A for 4 beats.

There isn't one. The recorded song doesn't really have one. He's adding a lot more in than what is actually recorded to make it sound more full since you'll probably play this by yourself.
