  • It doesn't matter what that O----prick says, Its a lie, that all he knows how to do well.

  • This is all re-election rhetoric. Obama is just talking a lot of shit now because he doesnt have to run against anyone and everyones focused on the Republican debates.

How do I know?Look at congress.Hes practically a lame duck if he was on a second term he wouldnt be saying a peep.

When the democrats controlled congress he could have done all of those things unopposed. This is the same hope and change bullshit make no mistake.

    Occupy America.

  • WHO SAYS "absolute power corrupts absolutely" - the meaning and origin of this saying can be found in the 60's when they would protest in the streets NO BIG BROTHER, GOVT GET OUT OF MY LIFE, MY HOME, MY JOB.. yet today these very protesters are in the BIG GOVT Business, making Big GOVT, involved in EVERYTHING YOU DO, work - "unions", Airports, What you can do in your homes "lighting", in your pocket books "wall street" and you bitch about the RICH now in these staged protest... such sheep U R!

  • Alyona is one of Putins hoes...paid for by Puti...

  • Alyona is the most beautiful presenter in the whole world

  • WWAD, What Would Alien's Do? An advanced civilization would not put a monetary system above other values. Technology will carry and is carrying us into the future (think alien); however this progression is slowed down by the "need" to maximize profits with every new breakthrough (i.e. rapid out-dating of cell phones). A monetary system encourages the over-consumption of resources and is NOT a primary resource. Water, food, air, shelter, education, mobility... Basic needs degraded by money.

  • CORPORATIONS ARE NOT PEOPLE! THE WEALTHY OWE US ALL!!!

  • this woman needs to shorten her questions and stop rambling.

  • O NO! Now the rich cant buy another helicopter for their 3rd vacation home in Malibu....o cry me a fucking river

  • How can making the rich pay the SAME rate as the middle class be class warfare???

Isn't that somewhat like a "flat tax" for those involved? LMAO! There is no limit to the fraud that is Republican politicians.

  • @aaronpolitical <----------LIAR

If you really are a "Nuclear Engineer" you wouldn't be using childish terms like "LMAO" or "GTFO"

  • @aaronpolitical EXACTLY!

  • when will you get a president who has a spine?

  • @spaik007 Maybe Obama can have one implanted?

  • How sad that he only decides to fight because of approval numbers and not because it's the right thing to do. And it's about time we had some class warfare. The poor have been under attack for years. Time to fight back, bitches!

  • Class warfare is OK for republicans as long as the rich are winning.

  • @MastermindX you nailed it.

  • The "Buffet Rule" won't work unless there are major reforms in other areas. Bill Gates will continue to "donate" his earnings, if not more now, to his foundation which is a tax haven. Warren Buffet, admittedly, pays less than his secretary because he takes very little to no salary and the vast majority of his earnings are tied up in "investments." Loopholes the rich lobbied for are the real problem. Don't fix the loopholes, and nothing changes. And just where does GE fit into this?

  • Tarriffs, we could have all the jobs that left back and more if we made slavery have to compete with decent wage Americans.

  • We need a simple graduated flat income tax with no deductions!

  • @MSCompuServ

Then the rich would own everything, duh!

  • @MSCompuServ That would be very bad for the middle class.

  • the tax cuts are set to expire, right?obama is proposing that all the tax cuts extend except for those who earn more than 250 k.so do the republicans try and hold hostage those extensions if they don't also extend for the top?betting they wouldn't dare...

  • When Republicans talk about class warfare you can be pretty sure they're waging it.

  • @Bigwave2003 Very well said!

  • When Bush started the recent wars he did it with borrowed money. OK, now we are at war. Time to declare an emergency and change the tax rates to the same as when Eisenhower was president, 91% for the top. Hurt the job creators? Good argument, except tax cuts don’t create jobs. Disagree? show me your proof.

  • Republican secret plan: force super congress cuts to kick in, then either stage or demagogue some terrorist incident somewhere in the world. The race to the microphones and say it's no time to cut defense, the world is too dangerous, look at what just happened. Rush a bill through congress exempting defense cuts. Accuse any Democrat who votes against it of stripping our defenses and surrendering to terrorists. Watch the rightwingers do it!

  • oops, i know, i'm an illiterate dumb-ass. i should've used whose instead of who's. not really an uncommon brain fart :p

  • Obama is a piece of trash, he could bring home the troops like he said he would but instead he just lets them die for nothing and makes us pay for it, and then he has the nerve to tell everyone that we have to either raise taxes or cut social programs rather than ending our foreign occupations.

  • Why didn't he do this from day one instead of introducing all this stimulus money printed out of thin air, not to mention guaranteeing loans to solar companies that were already planning bankruptcy.

My guess is that everything he does is carefully timed to the 2012 election.

  • The reason why they say that it's a class warfare because they know that this bill will cut off their payoffs from these corporations.

  • Dear Republicans,

    SHUT THE FUCK UP

    Sincerely, all rational voters

  • About time he grew a pair.

  • @gfsfg111 Obama? Having grown a pair? I'm not sure anything good can come from this ;_;

  • @peepeevagi vote Annie Cunt 2012

  • TAX THE SHIT OUT OF people who make more than $1M

    That'll help

  • Obama needs to cut Military spending and money going to nations who need to pay their own way.

  • You don't raise taxes on ANYONE during a depression. You cut spending first. Then you can overhaul the tax system to fix it.

  • @tomperanteau well yeah, because everyone knows that when one is used to making more than $2 million annually that there is just no possible way that one could afford to pay more in taxes during a recession when you only brought home $1.75 million last year (read: there's just no possible way that you could help your fellow americans that are struggling because millionaires are struggling just as much).

  • @hoosiergambler Where did you get your numbers? Unless you have an understanding of the tax code, then you are making things up as you go, or listening to mainstream media's spin. You don;t know the metrics or numbers, nor do you know how much in taxes they actually pay. Until you have versed yourself, you have no idea what you are talking about.

You could also consider that fellow Americans can help themselves without asking for handouts from someone else.

  • @tomperanteau the millionaire used to making more than $2 million annually but only brought home $1.75 million last year wasn't made up at all; that was a reference to my uncle who owns a a bar here in kokomo, IN. he's more than happy to pay more in taxes. you may be an engineer but you are still naive. the government will raise taxes whenever it wants regardless of recession.

  • @tomperanteau "You could also consider that fellow Americans can help themselves without asking for handouts from someone else."

that's not really a realistic consideration when according to the dept. of labor we have consistently every month this year acquired more people filing for unemployment than new jobs were created.

  • @hoosiergambler And therein lies your problem. You have become so dependent on government for information, and everything else, that you actually believe that you are helpless without government.

Are you really so helpless that you cannot take care of yourself without a handout? Can you think of no way to survive without someone giving you what you think you need?

  • @tomperanteau you question the DOL's numbers, fair criticism; but only if you have more reliable numbers and i'll bet you my house that you don't. dude, wtf!?! who ever said that i couldn't take care of myself!?! now YOU are the one caught red-handed making shit up and pulling out of their ass! i have a mortgage that i've never been late with and own my truck and maintain a good credit rating, fuck you very much!

    roflmfao :D

    roflmfao

  • @hoosiergambler "that's not really a realistic consideration when according to the dept. of labor"

Your own words. You stated that it is unrealistic when I stated that people should take care of themselves. Fuck the Department of Labor, and fuck the government. Take care of yourself.

We have a business that we south in 2006. We didn't ask for handouts, we sold our home and moved onto a boat. We survived. Don't tell me I pulled anything out of anywhere. I lived it. You sound like a failure.

  • @tomperanteau "You stated that it is unrealistic when I stated that people should take care of themselves" it IS unrealistic. poor baby, you don't like numbers; and you're an engineer, to boot! roflmfao, again! people cannot generally take care of themselves if there are more people than there are jobs available. i now call into question your educational status; rejects numbers, cannot make the simple labor/jobs - supply/demand connection. your idiocy has given me several good laughs.

  • @tomperanteau when you erroneously accuse me of not being able to take care of myself and taking hand-outs when i have a mortgage, own my truck and maintain a good credit rating; indeed, you ARE just pulling shit out of your ass and making things up as you go along to justify factually false statements because you are being made to look the fool in this forum. go re-read our little exchange and try to analyze how you have made yourself look.

    u mad bro?

  • @hoosiergambler You're the one that stated you were relying on the government telling you if it were realistic that you could take care of yourself.

I'm not mad, but you're not my "bro". You're a child that cannot take care of himself. My brothers are all successful and take care of themselves. Mad? No. Disgusted at what your generation is capable of? Yes. You mistake the two because you are in denial about your abilities and need to blame others. Keep sucking from the teet.

  • @tomperanteau fact is, you're just a greedy person who's momma never taught you to share. i wonder if you are an only child?

  • @tomperanteau You are just a heartless shit. I see your problem now. I'd love to have a chat with your employees, see how they're doing. This is a riot, but I don't think I can stand to read any more.

Warren Buffett told us all we need to know. You will probably now tell me he was lying. There's no help for you, because you don't want to deal in facts.

  • @tomperanteau cutting spending is economic suicide dumbass.

  • @dobbsiancant Sure it is. We need to run up the debt. You know, the debt that devalues currency and with that, the value of your work?

Makes about as much sense as you calling me names without any facts to back up your "economic suicide" theory.

You made the dumbass statement, then you call me the name. LOL!

Makes about as much sense as you calling me names without any facts to back up your "economic suicide" theory.

You made the moronic statement, then you call me the name. LOL!

  • @tomperanteau you do not cut spending during a recession/depression.you can try and rewrite the history of the 20th century to fit your political agenda but that doesn't change the facts.the rich will still do fine.i'm worried about people who are starving.if you aren't stupid then you are evil.i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.

  • @dobbsiancant You troll everywhere, don't you. You leave nasty and filthy comments all over, but you never state anything positive or any alternative ways of doing things. You, with your lack of spelling and punctuation, must really impress yourself.

Debating economics with you would be like dueling with an unarmed man. I am an engineer (EE) and own my own successful business that has weathered this depression. You? A child that has no concept of economics. You're a waste.

  • @tomperanteau Well I'm a fucking Nuclear Engineer who graduated from MIT, with a genius level IQ. And his last comment was exactly right. So *you're* actually the waste. Small business does not benefit from corporate handouts, so get a clue and stop being a corporate robot.

  • @aaronpolitical So, let's pretend that you are a "Nuclear Engineer".

You are not from the corporate world and know nothing of it, you are an academic that has been cared for all his life. You have never started a business and know nothing of running one, so you're clueless about that.

Then you want to talk about benefiting from corporate handouts and whether or not I even inferred that, which I did not. And I am a corporate robot?

I am a successful business owner, you are being ridiculous.

  • @tomperanteau I am currently in the corporate world as a consultant. I thought we were referring to our training. Cared for all my life? LMAO I served in the military. No one fucking cared for me there! What do you know about anything?

You still haven't stated your position on these issues, you have only attacked others as "ignorant". Prove it. Tell us what was wrong with this reporting. Or GTFO.

  • @aaronpolitical Little one... I thought you were a Nuclear Engineer. Now you state that you are a corporate consultant. That just means you are a liar.

I did state my stance. If it was over your head, then I guess you're just intent in ranting and raging towards other.

When you start your own business, then come back and perhaps you can add some intelligence where you have yet to.

  • @tomperanteau Then at least one of us would have added intelligence. You are a selfish hypocrite without a clue in the world. Enjoy your meaningless existence.

  • @aaronpolitical what would you do.

  • @Doversreturn About what?

  • @tomperanteau Is this your original genius I was supposed to read and try my hardest to comprehend?

    LMAO!

If you cut spending that supports the poor and middle class, they will have nothing left to spend besides essentials, and that will deepen the depression.

If you raise taxes on those who have MASSIVE amounts of excess income, it will not deepen the depression.

So if we are to address the debt, the right answer is clear. To those of us who give a shit about things that aren't money.

  • @tomperanteau Bottom line, the one thing, the ONE THING, you DO NOT do in a depression is try and lower the goddamn Federal deficit/debt. But you would know that if you were actually a successful businessman, or if you were honest you would admit that.

  • @aaronpolitical Your foul language does nothing to make you point. It only shows that you ran out of logic, and so turned to an emotional response. And if you continue to try to insult be, as opposed to debate me, I won't respond.

So, if spending more would have meant helping the economy, then why do you think the economy is still in a nose dive? You can't spend your way out when you have no money, and if you print more, it only dilutes the value of your currency. Seen gold prices lately?

  • The ONE likes the veto, as in the debt debates

“This is not class warfare, it’s math” ~BHO, 9-19-11

Is it only me? Does the proposed $3 trillion in cuts over 10 years only amount to $300 billion per year? Aren't the 'annual' deficits around $1.3 trillion? If my math is correct, that means HE still plans on spending $1 trillion more than being taken in each and every year. In 10 years HE will add another $10 trillion to the already overwhelming debt.

This is going to help -- how?
