  • i love your accent

  • Does rice and cream (made from cow milk) go along? if so, how can I combine those two?

  • you could use sushi rice (which is a fairly low GI rice) slightly less saltana's, and stevia, and this pudding is now a relatively healthy meal...

  • 3 people dont have taste buds :( but this is a awesome recipe :)

  • awesome:)

  • What about brown rice?? My mom is big on healthy so how could i make brown ice work? Same ingredients??

  • @slsrox1298 Rice Pudding is usually better with white rice, as it has more starch. But if you have some cooked brown rice, it should be fine ;)

  • Yummy Yummy~wonderful! I like rice puddings which is low fat and healthy , I will cook that for my breakfast, how about adding some oat? ^_^

  • always use to buy these on friday arvo's at coles after school or after work and im really glad to see you post up a video on rice pudding. they're top notch

  • yummy and thats an child hood fave for me XD

  • I like to serve this cold. Chilled. Overnight. Nice light summer treat

  • maybe put it in the oven on low heat for an hour so its real thick and custardy and a nice goldern brown top :)

  • is their a replacement for the brown thing u added first cause i cant seem to find it which is a shame

  • @CheeseSandFtw Use your favorite dried fruit if you can't find Sultanas ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow sultanas = raisins?

  • @shersyed Yeah, sultanas are slightly larger than raisins. More or less the same ;)

  • @hotdog1997 yeah

  • You should try it with coconut milk sans raisins. That's how we do it in the Philippines, although we use the sticky kind of rice.

  • @heelrunner heyy so u replace milk wit cononut milk?

  • @aznlonelygrl yeah... It has this tropical feel to it... ^_^

  • @heelrunner k thx im gonna go try som :)

  • I LOVE Rice Pudding and have always wanted to know how to make this, thanks David for showing me how :D

  • toasted sliced almonds are a great addition.

  • I love your simple recipe and the fact you use minimim sugar and no eggs. The American recipe versions is loaded with unnecessary ingredients and calories.

  • I hate sultanas yuck, or rasins not my cup of tea

  • what are saltamas??

  • wow you are a good cook

  • can you use brown sugar.

  • Yes, if you like!

  • Is it possible to leave out the dried fruits and replace it with another alternative?

Btw, greetings from Singapore, great channel you've got there.

  • Dried fruit is optional. You can add chocolate chips, orange zest (grated rind) or chopped banana if you prefer ;

  • good!

  • I LOVE YOU!

Your food is always awesome :D

  • hey mate have you every been to catering school or are you self taught.

  • Mostly self taught - it's been great knowing a lot of foodies over the years, I've picked up a lot of tips ;)

  • i bloody love this guy!!!

  • Aww shucks - thanks ;)

  • whats the black stuff? and it tastes great w/ cinammin

  • The sultanas? They are Dried grapes.

  • Ahhh I was wondering myself what they were. The USA calls dehydrated grapes raisins. Very interesting to know!

  • Ok i got my answers about saltamas. Im in the US too and yeah we call those raisins. I should have known.

  • 3 cups is too much rice! I know this, because I have made rice pudding. On my first try, I attempted to make it for somebody who liked it plain (without raisins). The rceipe called for 1/3 cup of uncooked rice and 1/3 cup of raisins. I put in 2/3 cup of rice because I was omitting the raisins, and this WAS a mistake. It came out like glop! And if 2/3 cup of uncooked rice is too much (which yields about 1 1/3 cup cooked), then 3 cups of cooked (about 1 1/2 cup raw) is WAY too much.

  • As I stated in the video, this recipe makes enough rice pudding for 3-4 people. Simply reduce this ingredients if you want less - I've made it for years and never had any problems :)

  • Did you invent cooking :p

  • You make things that i'd normally hate look really good :D How do you do it! Hehe.

  • I'm magic :)

  • I love watching your videos, and it is great to see you in full production lately.

One of my favourite foods, that I have never cooked before, is fish cakes. Do you have a nice recipe?

  • Thanks for your comments. I'm actually working on a Tuna Cakes video - will be uploaded next week - Stay Tuned!!!

  • Mmm, great dish. I'm of south asian descent and in my culture we make lots of rice pudding as well. It contains most of the same ingredients you used along with a touch of south asian spices. No matter where it comes from, rice pudding is always great!

  • yummy!

  • I remember my grandmother adding brown sugar to hers, then cinnamon over the top... yummy

  • my grandma used to make this :)

  • So did mine!!!

  • Thats an interesting dish.

  • A tasty dish too :)

  • Delicious!!
