@NormanMatchem actually he was 48 when he made the rifle. 7 when he came to the US. so for 41 years all his new cells that were produced in his body as he grew up were born in america. therefore 15% if him is canadian the rest is american. now add on the fact he has american citizenship - 5% he is 90% american and 10% american. simple math my friend =)

Cannabis does not lead to violence, alcohol sometimes does that, and prohibition always leads to crime. There is nothing wrong with hunting however, it is a necessity for survival. How do you think they get meat in the grocery store, or chicken at KFC? Why do anti-pot activists love violence so much? @FireArmsResQ Thanks, yeah these rifles are awesome! This one has been around the block and is an old war vet though so only reloaded .30-06 to M2 Ball spec is going through this beut. No hot modern factory ammo, don't want to accidentally damage the op rod, which is really the only thing that conserns me about this rifle. I hear it's pretty much the only weak point. The bore is also very shiny, yet is 1943 dated. Can't wait to hit the range up with a good batch of M2 Ball :) TING! lol

@zekdom Thanks! Haha yeah, ready for the zombies too ;) lol I'm not American, but Thomas Jefferson has some very true and inspiring quotes. Hopefully my blood must never be spilt, nor anybody by the bullets of my rifle, but if my country or myself is met with aggression from threats foreign or domestic, it pays to be prepared.

@zekdom Not at all, I'm Canadian. I hail from the great province of Newfoundland lol A lot of culture and history on that little rock floating in the Atlantic :) Vikings landed in Lans Au Meadows (might have spelled that wrong) many hundreds of years ago (maybe over a thousand), even longer before John Cabot who landed in 1497. I've got a bit of a flare for history, which is a big reason why I became a collector and came to gather all these old milsurps :P
