Wow! I'm so envious! I wish I had started with my afro. Unfortunately, some things made me have to cut all mine off before starting. Plus, yours actually started off looking like locks! My were definitely just braids for a long time afterward. So beautiful! So nice that you could rock them out like that so soon after getting them!

Great video! I have hand in hair itis too! Yours are so straight. Congrats... your'e year two now! I know exactly what you mean about not recognizing the growth until you look at the pictures. Between August and december my hair grew more than I realized.

at what point do they start to get heavier? MIne don't move yet...lol...and now that i look at mine...i think i got jipped. i don't have sista locks, i have regular locks...but she just used the interlocking technique...(sad face)

I don't really think they're heavy just laying more...think I started to notice them behaving/ laying down in place around the 6/7mth mark. I'm going to check your channel to see if you have pictures of your locks if not I'd love to see them. What interlocking technique? I'm still learning not that lock savvy yet lol. Are they traditional locks? I bet they're beautiful on you! :)

They're coming along great! I see you combined one or two on the edges. I combined alot of the fine, soft, slippery ones and now I only have 388 and trying to leave it there. I actually sat here and counted last night by tens lol. I can't wait to see your hair in another year!

I never really measured my hair before lol, when I went in for my consultation I was told I had 7/8 inches of natural hair i think it was more like 5/6..but they still shrunk up to about 1 inch it looks like in the first few months I just ran and measured a lock in the middle and it's 9.5 inches long but if I unraveled it, it would be longer since my hair coils. Hope that helps :)
