    (a) Green indication.—2. Vehicular traffic facing a green arrow signal, shown alone or in combination with another indication, as directed by the manual, may cautiously enter the intersection only to make the movement indicated by such arrow, or such other movement as is permitted by other indications shown at the same time, except the driver of any vehicle may U-turn, so as to proceed in the opposite direction unless such movement is prohibited by posted traffic control signs.

    (c) Steady red indication.—

    a. ...." the driver has a view of approaching traffic on the intersecting roadway before entering the intersection in obedience to a steady red signal may make a right turn, but shall yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and other traffic proceeding as directed by the signal at the intersection...."

  • the last car had the right way

  • @muh6666 Here is a archived story from a south florida newspaper Sun-Sentinal

"Green arrow gives U-turn right of way over drivers turning right on red" January 20, 2008

Q I'm waiting for a left-turn arrow to make a U-turn. Drivers on the intersecting street can turn right on red. Most of the time I yield to the other driver, even though I have the arrow. Who has the right of way?

    Milton Blau, Delray Beach

    A. You do, as long as there isn't a sign prohibiting U-turns.

  • @DashCamFL you're an Idiot, he had a green arrow,HE had the right of way, this happened to me a week ago and I almost got out of the car to kick his ass cos hedidn't admit fault but he finally did

  • @muh6666 Yes, if he had a green arrow then I would be wrong. Honest question, are you from Florida? The truck that turned right would have been seeing a red light, so he has to yield to traffic and pedestrians.

If he had the option for a green arrow, my lane would have a no u-turn sign. Also from personal experience ( I have driven down state road 1 before ) there is no green arrow option for people making a right turn.

  • @DashCamFL Also , every time I have seen a green arrow for a right turn in south Florida , the right lane turns slightly to the right with a curb separating the right turn lane from the center lane.

Anyhow you probably don't believe me so I will post a video in a few days showing the other side of the intersection , it will be titled FOR MUH666

  • Man that hoop-t-mobile came close to hitting that car...

What are you using for video editing?

  • @NOVAdashcam vegas movie studio platinum 10, think it cost 50 bucks at amazon.com

  • @DashCamFL I was just asking 'cause of the license plate blockers - for plates that come in from the side of the screen, you should be able to keep the block image out of view (if you're using the Pan Event feature to move them around), make a keyframe just before the plate comes into view, and then track it (so there isn't a floating square blocking nothing for a time). I use Vegas 9 Movie Studio. It's very tedious to do.

  • Last clip, are you allowed to make u-turn at intersection? Mine all intersection is not allowed unless there's sign that we're allowed to make u-turn.

  • @DrivingandDashcam Yes, you are allowed in Florida to make a U-turn when you have the green light and you are at the right most turning lane) at any intersection as long as there is not a no u-turn sign. It is the opposite of your state. Also, A green light means you make turn or make a u-turn when clear and a green arrow means you have the right of way and all oncoming traffic is stopped.
